Save the open tabs on Chrome and Firefox to reopen the same pages

If you use to open many tabs and many websites at the same time while browsing the web, it is often useful to save a navigation sessioen to continue the work later, perhaps even from another PC.
An important feature released by Google Chrome and Firefox is the ability to sync bookmarks online .
This means, in practical terms, that your favorite sites are stored online if you have a Google or Mozilla account. It therefore becomes a way of always having your favorite sites at hand.
Also in Chrome you can keep tabs open on multiple devices in sync, so you can continue browsing the same websites.
Only using some extensions, however, it is possible to save a browsing session, made up of many open tabs, and resume it, for example the next day, from any other computer because it is saved online.
To understand its usefulness, one must imagine surfing the internet at home and opening different tabs on Chrome with various sites that perhaps deal with the same topic. If you prefer to continue reading or looking for information the next day or in a few hours, you can save the entire session and turn off the computer. When you start surfing again, you can reopen Chrome or Firefox and pick up where you left off, with the same tabs stored before.
Not only, however, you can resume from your computer but, if you have enabled the synchronization function of favorites with Google account, also from another pc, whatever it is because the sessions are saved online . All this becomes very useful, for example, to resume an internet search from home, or vice versa, from home.
The extensions that allow you to save the open tabs with synchronization of browsing sessions on Chrome and Firefox are:
1) FreshStart ( Chrome )
Among the FreshStart options there is also that of setting the automatic saving of the open tabs every 5 minutes so, if the browser or the computer should crash or tilt and require restarting, when it is restarted, it would immediately resume from the point in which it was.
Another interesting aspect is the possibility of sharing these open tabs with other people, using, in this case, a shared Google account.
With automatic saving, two people can agree and use FreshStart to perform a search on the shared internet, with a synchronization, on both computers, of the boards and of the open sites.
2) Session Buddy to organize the open tabs in groups on Chrome and save them for later use, is the extension that I personally chose for its ability to keep multiple sessions organized and save groups of tabs.
3) Session Manager for Google Chrome saves a tab or a whole group of active tabs.
To store a card, click on the extension icon and select "Store Tab"
To store a window (a group of tabs) click on the icon and select "Store Window" window "
Sesh also allows you to synchronize active tabs between different computers, so you can continue working on a different PC (thanks to Chrome synchronization).
4) Save My Tabs ( FireFox )
Save My Tabs is a small addon that works in the background and saves active tabs automatically. The addon regularly creates a new text file that contains information on all the tabs open at that time. In the extension preferences you can:
Set the time interval to create a new backup (default is 15 minutes);
Set the file path to store TSV text files
5) Tab Cloud ( Google Chrome and FireFox ) allows you to manually save any open window with all the sites open in the tabs, even in a synchronized way between multiple PCs. You can also manage your saved sessions by rearranging the tabs, opening only one of the sites and renaming them. It also allows you to synchronize active tabs with your Android phone (through the application).
