Can the same charger be used for all mobile phones, smartphones, tablets?

Each electronic device such as smartphone, tablet, laptop and even the bluetooth headset or other objects, has its own charger.
There was a time, several years ago, when each brand used its own different charger which was incompatible with electronic devices from other brands.
Afterwards, especially with the expansion of the smartphone and tablet market, the situation had become more uniform and the same charger could really be re-used for all devices thanks to what had become the almost unique standard of mobile phone chargers, ie the Micro-USB connector .
Today the situation has undergone some changes, partly due to the natural technological evolution that leads to much faster refills than in the past, partly also due to the cunning of some companies that want to return to imposing their exclusive connector, different from the one of others.
Trying to be as synthetic as possible, we see in this article how the same chargers can be used for all cell phones, smartphones, tablets and some laptops, in any case, thanks also to the adapters.

Types of chargers
Currently there are different types of battery chargers and among these we go to see the main ones depending on the device you want to charge.
- In the case of laptops, chargers are often different from each other.
In order not to risk damaging the battery, always use the one designed specifically for that model of laptop.
Laptop connectors are not standardized, they can be similar or identical for computers of the same brand, but not for different brands.
In some cases, especially on some PCs convertible into tablets, the Micro-USB connector may be present, although it is almost never used for charging, but only for data transfer.
- iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are all charged via USB, even if there is a different connector depending on the version.
On iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and 7 also Plus, iPhone 8 and iPhone X and also and on iPads sold since 2012, there is the Apple Lightning socket, which therefore requires the Lightning - USB cable.
The Lightning connector is different than the connector of Apple devices released before 2012 with 30 pins.
Apple also has an adapter to charge old devices with the new charger.
You can buy the Lightning USB cable for iPhone on Amazon for only 7 Euros.
If you had many USB chargers for non-Apple mobile phones at home, with Micro USB cable, you can convert them all to iPhone cables using a Lightning-to-Micro-USB adapter which on Amazon costs only 6 Euros.
- Micro USB charger : most Android smartphones and tablets use standard Micro-USB connectors.
These chargers have replaced the proprietary chargers of old cell phones used by the various houses and comply with the directives of the European Union which imposed the use of a common charger for smartphones.
- USB-C charger is the new cable standard for some more modern smartphones such as Huawei and Honor mobile phones.
The USB-C cable is similar to the Micro USB cable, but has a slightly different connection,
If you buy a new phone with a USB-C socket, then you can buy other cables with a USB-C connection that can be easily connected to the old chargers, or, to recycle the old MicroUSB cables, the USB-C adapters.
If you have several devices with different attachments, it may be a good idea to purchase a three-output charging cable: Micro USB. USB C and Lightning together.
As can be seen from the Amazon link, the same manufacturer also allows other combinations such as the 2 micro-USB and a Lightning.
In another article we also saw what are the multiple USB chargers to charge iPhone, tablet and mobile phones all together
The question now is therefore: with any USB charger I can charge all the smartphones and tablets that have this type of connector "> How to charge the mobile phone battery faster (iPhone or other smartphones)
