What you need to use to clean the plastic screens of electronic devices is the microfibre cloth that you can buy for a few Euros in every supermarket.
For a perfect result, a microfiber cloth that is lint-free and will not damage the screens should be used.
Non-microfibre cloths such as towels or other fabrics (including the shirt), can leave traces, streaks, fluff and those micro-scratches mentioned before.
If you didn't have a microfiber cloth at home, just take a glasses cleaning cloth that is perfect in the same way.
To clean the LCD screen of smartphones and TVs then use the microfiber cloth gently moving it downwards and rubbing it lightly in the dirtiest spots.
Ideally you should turn off the screen, but it is not important if you are not using water.
The cloth can be dry because the microfiber works as a magnet for dust and dirt.
Optionally, if necessary, you can also use a damp cloth with distilled water (or even stronger distilled water and vinegar) to clean the stains that do not come off.
If there are greasy spots on the screen, you can add a drop of liquid dishwashing liquid in warm water.
Soap loosens grease and does not damage the screen while warm water works best for removing dirt.
Be careful not to use tap water and too hot water which can damage the plastic.
