Programs to copy files faster and with pause on Windows PC

Someone, reading the title, might think: " What is the use of a program to copy files on Windows when you just have to drag and copy and paste them"> To this question the answer is really very simple, in fact just try to copy and paste between 3 or 4 files simultaneously, perhaps from different folders to realize that the operation takes biblical times and that the process slows down the computer. The speed of file transfer depends mainly on the hardware available on the system and, in particular, on the speed of the hard disk, system memory, CPU and USB memory devices.
Windows then works sequentially, that is, it does one thing at a time and, in this case, copies one file at a time and not all at once.

There are several programs to speed up the copying of files and their movement on Windows PC among which the number one is Teracopy.
Teracopy, the most popular and one of the fastest, copies files through the fastest channel and doesn't get stuck in case of problems. TeraCopy can also be incorporated into the Windows Explorer context menu, allowing you to pause the copy process at any time and resume it later. The copy speed is much better than that of Windows and has an intelligent error recovery process.
Unlike the classic Windows copy and paste, you can quickly copy and paste multiple files together, placed in different folders. The best use can be referred to when, for example, you have to transfer files to the USB stick, when you want to transfer documents of the same type to organize them in the various folders but above all when it comes to large files that take longer to spend from one place to another. Once installed and opened, the copying process begins by pressing the Source button and selecting one or more folders where the files to be copied are located. Then you choose where to transfer those folders and, through the green button at the top, the copy process for data transfer can begin.
In the experiment done, I started copying about 2 GB of images placed in different folders, and it took about 50 seconds . If I had done it with the classic drag and copy and paste, it would have taken me at least 5/6 minutes.
I copied the same data to a shared folder on the network and it always took a minute so the test was absolutely satisfactory.
Teracopy integrates into Windows Explorer (the classic resource explorer) and also works as a separate program, all for the benefit of the speed of data transfer.
Other similar and even better programs to copy files quickly and transfer them from one disk to another, which integrate with Windows Explorer, for Windows 10 and Windows 7 are:
1) An excellent program to copy files on Windows 7 and Windows 10 is Copy Handler, perhaps less complete than Teracopy but still very effective in copying or transferring groups of files quickly without slowing down and with many options also to resume interrupted transfers and to resolve errors . The process of copying and moving files becomes significantly faster using these programs. The beauty of Copy Handler is that it can perform multiple batch copy and move operations and that you can also pause and resume copying by pausing it.
2) Simple and very fast Fast Copy, is another very fast file copy tool in transferring. Just like TeraCopy, FastCopy also allows users to copy or move files between folders.
3) Fast File Copy opens a window divided into two sections, thus simplifying the selection of the source and destination folder for file transfer.
Simply select the files on the left side and the destination folder on the right side to start the transfer.
The transfer speed of the software is much faster than the original transfer speed of your copy of Windows.
4) File Fisher is the most versatile of the fully customizable file copying programs that can be carried on a USB stick for immediate use on any computer. You can pause, resume or cancel the copy process at any time and restart it from the exact point where it was interrupted.
