Take notes and stick post-it notes on a website, document or program

Personally, I am a messy person who relies more on memory than on an agenda for writing commitments or things to remember. At the same time, I am not a user of post-its, i.e. sticky notes to stick on the walls, on the computer or wherever it happens.
I also tried the useful post-it notes programs on the desktop and kept some of them virtually stuck on the computer screen.
Recently, however, I found a truly amazing program that allows you to take notes and notes attaching them to open programs, documents, files and, above all, web pages opened on the browser .
Stickies is a desktop application that satisfies the need to keep notes regarding anything you do on your computer, especially in the case of documents and websites.
You can use this small program to write notes, linked to a Word, Excel, Powerpoint file, to a specific website or to any other program. If you use any application on your PC, you can immediately open a new note, write a thought, two lines of reminders, a mini user guide to remember how to use such a program and save the note. The note is "attached" to the document, e-mail, application or website on which it was working.
The beauty of this free Windows app is that you don't have to remember if a note was made about a program or website, and you don't even have to look for it. Whenever you return to the document, the email, the Excel sheet, the website or anything else on which the note was left, GumNotes, which remains running in the background on the computer, automatically pops up a window at the bottom right with the content of the note taken .
Closing that web page or that document or even just going to another window, the note disappears.
The installation of Gumnote is easy and, during configuration, you can always go ahead without changing anything. Gumnotes gets noticed running with a purple or gray icon near the clock. To take a note, right-click on this icon and click on New Note, write and close the popup. Going to the list of notes taken, you will notice that the new note has been automatically saved. If you want to create a note attached to a document, a program or a website, instead of New Note, you have to click on New Note with Gum-Effect . The Gum Effect can be activated or deactivated and represents the automatic note display system . When a note appears on the screen, it shows the written post-it and the link to the site or attached file. Gumnote works with everything, not only Office documents and websites (with any web browser) but also files opened and created with other programs such as Photoshop or Audacity.
If you right click on the icon, you can select " Manage Notes ", to see all the notes saved. In the Options you can configure Gumnotes to start automatically with the computer and you can configure an account on the SimpleNote website so as to keep notes synchronized between multiple computers . In this way, in fact, you can also save your notes online to find them whatever computer you use with GumNotes.
Among other things, it is also possible to set timers for individual notes so as to create automatic timed alerts. Another interesting feature is that if you add a new note with no links attached, you can add one or more keywords that will serve as a reminder of the automatic pop up. It means that every time you open a window whose title contains one of these keywords, the note also appears.
If you want something simpler, just to take notes on web pages, then you can install some extensions for Firefox browsers and for Google Chrome .
OurSticky is the extension for Google Chrome, and on Firefox that allows you to attach personalized notes and post-its on the web pages in which you surf. Notes are added by pressing on a site page with the right button at any point and choosing Create Note from the menu. The note can also be moved and edited whenever you want and can be set to appear whenever you open that web page.
On Google Chrome you can add post-its on websites with Web Page Sticky Notes . Notes can be customized in size and colors, can be moved and stuck by pressing the NoteBoard button on the extension bar. Again, the notes remain in memory and will also be displayed on subsequent visits to that site.
