IOS 12.4 jailbreak to unlock iPhone and iPad (updated guide)

The Jailbreak is the word to indicate the unlocking of Apple devices, useful, among other things, to free the iPhone and iPad from factory restrictions by allowing the installation of applications even if not downloaded through the iTunes Store. Apple has made this unlocking more and more difficult on the new versions of iOS and since jailbreak is not an operation that everyone would like to do (in order not to run warranty risks or malfunctions), let's say that for a while there has been no willingness to find out how to do it from developers.
With the Jailbreak you can access new stores to download other apps with your iPhone phone or iPad tablet, including the famous Cydia, a repository that also includes many applications that have been rejected by Apple.
Jailbreak can therefore be done on iOS 12.4 (if you update this version of iOS, you will lose the Jailbreak).
The tool to use is called unc0ver and we recommend following one of the many video tutorials that have sprung up to unlock iOS 12.4, since jailbreak can be a bit complicated if it has never been done before.
To begin with, make sure you have iOS 12.4 on the iPhone or iPad via the Settings> General> Information screen . Jailbreak seems to work only on iPhones and iPads that use an A7 to A11 chip, so it doesn't work on iPhone XS, XS Max or XR, nor on iPad Mini or iPad Air 2019, which use A12 chips.
Then download from PC or Mac, Cydia Impactor and the latest version of Undecimus.ipa. Unzip the downloaded files, run Cydia Impactor, connect the iPhone or iPad to the Windows PC or Mac via USB cable.
Drag the .IPA file you downloaded into the Undecimus app, enter your Apple ID and password to log in. Once the jailbreak is installed on the device, open Settings on the device, tap General, then Device Management (which should be in Profile and VPN). Touch on the Apple ID and touch the option to mark the email address as trusted.
Turn off Siri (via the first three options in the Siri & Search section of the Settings app), turn on Airplane mode and turn off the iPhone.
Turn it back on and then, once loaded, start the unc0ver app and tap the big blue " Jailbreak " button. When prompted to restart the device, launch the unc0ver app and press the Jailbreak button (again). Repeat this process once again when the device restarts to install the unofficial Cydia app store on the device.
Keep in mind that this is a semi-tethered jailbreak (reset on reboot), so you will need to start unc0ver and tap Jailbreak every time you restart the iPhone. Also, if you don't have a developer account, you'll need to reload the unc0ver app again every seven days.
This is all you need to do to have a "jailbroken" iPhone or iPad and you can then browse and download applications from Cydia, looking for the most particular and most useful ones.
Obviously Navigaweb can not take responsibility in case of problems or damage to the devices however, from what I read, it is a reliable procedure and, above all, you can always go back in case of need and relock the iPhone or iPad.
If you want to remove the Jailbreak, use the Cydia Impactor app .
