How to test smartphones on PC before buying one

To choose the mobile phone to buy, you generally read technical data sheets, reviews, comments and ratings given on specialized websites and forums.
If what you are looking for is a smartphone, the choice is necessarily limited to 3 types: iPhone, Android and Windows Phone (even wanting a Blackberry is a possibility).
Beyond aesthetics and brand, smartphone phones differ in the operating system which can be more comfortable and beautiful depending on your preferences.
Such mobile systems can be tested on a computer to see how they are, how applications work and how they operate.
Current mobile phone emulators should not be taken for faithful reproductions of a smartphone.
You have to think of them as demos, incomplete in functions, whose performance may not be optimal.
They give a very clear idea about what can be expected from the smartphone that mounts that operating system even if, like all emulated systems, there may be bugs or malfunctions which then, of course, will be absent on the new mobile phone.
It is therefore clear that if you want to experiment which system is faster and more fluid, it is not with the emulator that you have to do the test.
To see the differences between the iOS of the iPhone and the iPad, between Android and Windows Phone you can use one of these emulators for mobile phones:
1) MobiOne Studio (iPhone, Android)
MobiOne Studio is an easy-to-use program that allows you to emulate the main screen of an iPhone or Android smartphone on Windows to test applications.
It is an operating environment useful especially for those who develop mobile applications.
Unfortunately MobiOne Studio is the only emulator for iPhone and costs 100 Dollars, but it can still be used for 15 days for free.
To find out more, read the post on the iPhone and online pc emulator .
2) You can still try iOS with an online iPad simulator I mentioned in the article on how to turn Windows into an iPad.
3) Android SDK
The official way to test Android on a PC is by installing the program provided by the Google Android Development Kit (SDK), free of charge.
This emulator is designed to be an environment in which to test applications in development, but it can also be used to test the most popular operating system on cell phones worldwide.
Since the installation is rather elaborate and complicated, as written in the guide, you can go directly to some websites where you can try Android without installing anything.

4) BlueStacks (Android)
BlueStacks is not exactly an Android emulator as it does not replicate its operating environment.
Bluestacks however is formidable because it allows you to install and use Android applications on PC and Mac .
BlueStacks is free and can also be useful to those who already have an Android smartphone or tablet, to synchronize applications between the mobile phone and the computer.
5) Windows Phone emulator
As Windows Phone phones are less popular, many may be interested in finding out how the Microsoft system for mobile phones that is installed on the new Nokia Lumia models works.
As already written in a specific guide, you can try Windows Phone with an emulator on a PC or even on Android and iPhone, without installing anything.
You can simply point the browser of the smartphone on the site aka.ms/wpdemo to interactively test the Windows Phone Nokia Lumia system from your mobile phone.
