Compose and play melodies with Bach in the interactive Google logo

Over the years, and now with increasing frequency, Google has created beautiful logos (called Doodle) for its Homepage, often dedicated to historical characters, parties or special events.
What appears today on the Google Homepage can be considered perhaps the best of the Google logos ever to date, the first
doodle powered by artificial intelligence, dedicated to the extraordinary composer Johann Sebastian Bach for the anniversary of his birth.
The Doodle, beautifully illustrated and drawn, allows you to write new melodies on a small score and after choosing a key, it is able to automatically generate a new harmonized melody in the style of Bach .
It is therefore possible to compose and play a melody and, through the magic of machine learning, to let the AI behind it harmonize it to make it seem as if it had been written by Bach himself.

The logo however gives basic instructions for learning how to compose on a score and write music.
The notes are then added by clicking on the score.
When you enter the note, you can alter it below using the keys of the Diesis (highest semitone) and the flat (Lower semitone).
The scribbled notes on the left side allow you to play two ready-made melodies.
On the left side we have a button with the star that makes a knob appear that changes the hue of the composition .
At the bottom there are the basket to reset the composition, the Play button to try it and then two arrows that go up and down to change the tempo and make the music slower or faster.
After adding some notes, you can press the Harmony key to listen to the piece as if it were composed and played by Bach, with the addition of other lines of score and instruments.
On the composer's logo is the figure of an acoustic box on the right, very funny, which if pressed turns Bach into a Rock composer, making the melody play with instruments such as piano and electric guitar.
By clicking on the Bach characters above, you can read curiosities about the composer's life.
The Google Doodle for Bach is based on Coconet, a machine learning model for manipulating music that has been in the works for three years.
On this occasion he was trained with a set of 306 Bach choral harmonizations, in order to generate polyphonic melodies in the composer's style.
