Uninstall iTunes and Apple programs from Windows PC completely

Except in case you have to manage an iPhone, an iPad or an iPod Touch, after a short time it turns out that iTunes is a useless and harmful program .
Useless both because as an mp3 player on the computer it has nothing more than any Media Player or because the music on an ipod can also be loaded using other programs. Harmful because it is a huge software, which occupies more than 100 MB, slow and which is accompanied by many other Apple programs that serve almost nothing.
After seeing the guide to install iTunes without unnecessary components, let's now see how you can uninstall iTunes, completely, without leaving traces on the computer.
Removing all iTunes also means removing other programs such as QuickTime, iTunes Helper, Bonjour and all those other mysterious stuff that Apple forces you to keep.
The problem that makes it necessary to write this guide is that when you uninstall iTunes in the traditional way, through the Windows program uninstaller, almost nothing is removed .
Basically, after uninstalling, all Apple's services and programs remain alive and well, including Quicktime.
We must then remove every single element, one by one, but even so, a lot of obsolete files remain on the computer.
Rather then going to work one afternoon to permanently delete iTunes, it is better to take another path.
You have to use programs like Revo Uninstaller that are used to uninstall the programs completely, cleaning the pc from all the files associated with them.
With the advanced uninstallation of Revo, both the files and the registry keys left after the removal of the program are scanned.
With Itunes, you will notice a very long list of files to be deleted in the trunk and also many registry keys from which you only need to delete those colored in blue.
It seems incredible but it does not end here: browsing for Windows folders, it turns out, with great surprise, that after all this, on Windows 7, the Apple folders are still empty, in the following paths: C: \ Program Files, C: \ Users \ username \ Roaming \ Apple Computer and C: \ Users \ username_ AppData \ Local \ Apple Computer .
To see the hidden AppData folder, you must first go to Folder Options and select View hidden files and folders .
Finally, you need to clean up your system using one of the registry cleaners like Ccleaner .
If you really wanted to deepen the cleaning, you would have to search manually for terms such as iTunes, QuickTime, Apple, etc. through a registry key search program.
Obviously this operation can be done if you are aware of what you are doing because the registry is a very delicate section.
In another article, I had already explained how to remove Bonjour and the mDNSResponder.exe process.
In conclusion we can truly say that Apple, formidable in designing and creating mp3 players and smartphones, is really bad at developing programs (or perhaps it does them on purpose ...).
After removing iTunes, I remember that there are many alternatives, both as programs to listen to music and mp3s, and programs to put music on the iPod without iTunes.
