Comodo secure and reserved browsers Dragon (Chrome) and IceDragon (Firefox)

Speaking of browsers for surfing the internet, the growing success of Google Chrome has really put Firefox on the ropes this year.
However, the Mozilla browser still has a large group of loyalists and many fans who would never change their plans to visit websites.
It is for this reason that the company Comodo, one of the best software house of security programs, has released a version of its browser based on Firefox.
On the Comodo website, you can then choose whether to download and install the Dragon brower based on Chrome or Ice Dragon, based on Firefox .
For those unfamiliar with Comodo Dragon we say that it is a browser identical to Chrome, which, however, is not from Google and provides features to navigate with greater security and confidentiality .
Comodo Dragon is a browser set to protect user privacy so that browsing information is not transmitted to sites and advertising agencies.
In fact, cookies are blocked on some sites that allow them to make access statistics, prevents monitoring and blocks sites that may present malware.
In addition, the upper and lower SSL certificates are identified, so as to have more security in case you have to make payments online or when you need to surf on sites with sensitive information.
With Comodo Dragon, secure DNS servers are used in internet browsing which replace those of the connection providers.
Comodo Dragon comes with two pre-installed extensions, one for scanning viruses on web pages, one for sharing links on Facebook.
Comodo IceDragon is practically identical in general characteristics with the substantial difference that it is Firefox and not Chrome.
This means that the options menu, extensions, rendering engine and graphical interface are those of Firefox.
During the installation of IceDragon you can also choose whether to install it as a portable version, without installation and transferable on a USB stick.
IceDragon, for this reason, becomes an excellent secondary browser to be used in order not to leave traces of navigation on the PC.
Another noteworthy feature is the ability to immediately activate the SecureDNS Comodo as it also happens for the Dragon version based on Chrome.
IceDragon is fully compatible with Firefox Add-ons and there are two pre-installed: the Facebook icon to share links and the Comodo Site Inspector magnifying glass to check if a site is safe or dangerous.
IceDragon also removes Firefox crash reports and performance data collection making it a little faster than Mozilla's Firefox.
As mentioned above, both Comodo Dragon and IceDragon are excellent secondary browsers, but, for me, there is no reason to use them as primary browsers instead of Chrome or Firefox.
The Siteinspector is an excellent function but no better than Web Of Trust, the best extension for safe and secure online browsing.
Comodo's DNS are certainly reliable, but in any case you can always use the DNS Google or OpenDNS.
The fact remains that Comodo Dragon or IceDragon are excellent options for those looking for a browser such as Chrome or Firefox, which are however safer and less intrusive.
Obviously they are free and you can try both and they do not replace the current installations of Chrome and Firefox.
