Clear cache folder file previews on Windows

Windows 10, the new Microsoft operating system has been done really well, with many functions, excellent from the point of view of security and network settings and, above all, very fast to load as is Windows 7.
Like also Windows 7 and Windows 8, also the 10 can suffer a small defect to be corrected which concerns the slow loading when opening folders with many files inside .
I don't know if you noticed it but when you open one of the folders with preview like that of images and photos, music or videos, if there are so many files inside, Windows loads a lot of time .
Technically, what happens in the system when opening a folder is the creation of thumbnails of the preview images.
To speed up the loading of folders then you should set the display of small icons or details but this is certainly not a solution.
One way to speed up the loading times of each folder is to go to Properties, go to the Customize tab and, under " Optimize the folder for ", choose the contents of the folder to be optimized and press OK.
This option is only visible by pressing the right button on a folder from the main disk.
For example, I optimize the Music folder for music, the one with photos for images and the one with files scattered around documents.
The result is assured and the folder opens and shows all the contents more quickly.
However, one problem remains open: because Windows takes so long to create and cache the thumbnails every time "> Explorer ", click on Properties, go to the Security tab and then Advanced .
Click on Change permissions and then, for all the users listed including the system, click on Change and check the Deny box for these two items: " Delete subfolders and files " and " Delete ".
This creates three new special permission entries that can always be removed later.
This procedure denies the possibility for everyone, including Windows, to delete the files inside this folder, therefore, the cache will no longer be emptied, it will remain intact and the loading of video, music, photos and documents folders will be faster.
The only thing to watch out for is that this folder will never be emptied even using cleaning tools like Ccleaner.
From time to time, therefore, it would be appropriate to restore the original permissions and empty the cache.
Another setting that can speed up your computer is to run folder windows in a separate process, an option found in Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View .
From what I have been able to experience, this change becomes significant only on computers that mount 4 GB of Ram (already fast in itself).
