Whenever we move away from home and want to watch our favorite programs broadcast on TV, we can rely on our faithful smartphone, now a real "universal container": just use the right apps and a stable LTE connection or Wi-Fi hotspot -Fi to be able to enjoy the main traditional TV channels on the screen of our mobile phone. Most of the apps provided for current smartphones are free, but we can also access satellite channels and some paid services if we wish.

App to watch TV on mobile for free
In this chapter of the guide we will show you only free apps, which allow you to access TV channels without paying any subscription (at most they require free registration on the portal).
RaiPlay
RaiPlay // www.navigaweb.net / 2009/06 / rivedere-i-programs-rai-su-internet.html is the official RAI application that allows you, legally and for free, to view all the broadcasts (or almost) in live streaming from the various digital terrestrial channels.
You can choose to watch the live broadcasts of all the Rai channels on digital terrestrial: Rai 1, Rai 2, Rai 3, Rai 4, Rai 5, Rai News, Rai Premium, Rai Movie, Rai Sport 1, Rai Sport 2, Rai Gulp, Rai Yoyo, Rai Storia and Rai Scuola. Besides the live coverage, replays of fiction and films are available, many of which have just been broadcast in the early evening.
Note : for those who live abroad, it is good to know that streaming from the Rai site and from the app only works from the Italian territory (we will therefore have to have an Italian IP, also using a VPN ).

Mediaset Play
If, on the other hand, we are interested in seeing the live programs broadcast on Mediaset channels, we will have to rely on the Mediaset Play app.
With this app we will be able to watch live broadcasts from Mediaset TV channels, as if we had a real TV in our pocket: we can in fact watch Canale 5, Italia 1, Rete 4, 20 Mediaset, Focus, La 5, Italia 2, Mediaset Extra online, Top Crime, Iris and Boing.
In addition to the live streaming channels, we can access the on-demand content made available by Mediaset including films, TV series, fiction, documentaries and insights. The use of the app is free, but in order to view the live broadcasts, free registration on the Mediaset portal is required.
Also in this case, for those who live abroad, it is good to know that streaming of Mediaset services works only from the Italian territory (in case we can use a VPN to remedy this).
The Mediaset Play app is available for free for Android and iOS devices.
dplay
Dplay is instead the app to see the channels of the Discovery network, including the Real Time, Dmax, Focus and Yellow channels.
By accessing the app we can enjoy all our favorite programs, watching both the live streaming of the channels and the collections of the programs, so that we can enjoy the lost episodes at any time. Registration on the Dplay portal is also required on the Dplay app in order to access the contents: after registration, the use of the live broadcast is free.
We can download the Dplay app for free for Android and iOS.
TVdream (Android)
If we want to watch other TV channels that are not Rai and Mediaset available for free only for Android (the app no longer exists, it can be replaced with ItaliaTV Direct.
In order to access the Italian TV channels offered by the app, we tap on the card with the globe icon, select Italy and choose the TV channel to be displayed from the list. In addition to the Italian channels, we can also access the international channels, with which you can enjoy sports events, films and TV series for free (obviously we will have to be skilled in the chosen language, so that we can understand everything without problems).

For those who have a subscription to Sky, they can view most of the paid satellite platform channels using the Sky Go app, included in all packages and subscriptions.
Once the app is downloaded, simply open it, type in your Sky login credentials and choose the satellite channel to view on your smartphone. We have an IPTV list in M3U8 format and we want to use it on our smartphone "> IPTV Extreme.
