Windows trick: Select windows by hovering over them

In Windows 10 accessibility settings, a trick is hidden that can make life easier for everyone who works on the computer by keeping multiple windows open together.
This setting allows you to select and use a program open in another window (for example a web page or a Word text) directly and automatically only by hovering over it, without having to click it.
This allows both to skip the first click that should be done to bring an app to the foreground and interact directly with it, and to continue writing or working on the active window, without having to hide it.
For example, therefore, it is possible to write on two different texts (keeping the windows one above the other, but so that when you select one, a piece of the other is visible) without ever having to click and resize them.
Another option, less strong and that can be activated as an alternative to this, allows instead to scroll the inactive windows with the mouse wheel, just passing the cursor over it and without clicking and then to return to the other in the same way, only moving the mouse.
For example, you can rewrite a text by keeping the original one in the background under control, scrolling it without having to click it.

To use this trick and then have the possibility to select and use an open window on the Windows desktop without having to click it, open open the Control Panel and go to the Accessibility Center .
From here, open the " Change mouse behavior " section
On the next page, enable the " Activate a window by hovering over it " option.
Then click on Apply and close the Control Panel.
From now on, any open and non-minimized window on the desktop can be activated by making it go to the front only by positioning the mouse cursor on it.
This option works great if you keep windows side by side or overlapping and programs open on different monitors .
You can use multiple programs together without having to click on them, only by automatically placing the mouse pointer over them.
It works even if apps are open in full screen mode on another monitor.
Alternatively, it is possible to activate a different option in Windows 10, which allows you to scroll with the mouse wheel on the windows not selected but still visible on the desktop, without having to click on them.
This option is found by opening Settings> Devices, in the Mouse section.
Simply activate the option " Scroll idle windows on mouse over ".
It is obvious that if the accessibility center option has already been selected to activate the window by hovering over it, then this setting of scrolling inactive windows becomes completely useless.
