10 best tricks for Android with ROOT

Many features and functions of an Android smartphone are only available on unlocked devices with root premises. Unlocking the mobile phone with root permissions is not illegal, it is simply a matter of taking full possession of the mobile phone and using it as an administrator (or superuser) to modify the system files which, for safety, are protected by those who sell the mobile phone to the public.
Even if, therefore, enabling ROOT access on Android decreases security, the functions of the phone that can do otherwise impossible things increase.
Let's see here the 10 best tricks that you can use with Android ROOTato .

1) Backup and restore of App data
Using an application such as Titanium Backup, you can save the backup of an application's data and then restore it later.
This function requires root access because Android applications should not be able to read data from other applications.
Titanium Backup allows you to easily backup and restore each app, including data that normally could not be backed up.
The Android settings still back up the apps and some data (see: How to backup the Smartphone to save the data (iPhone and Android)).
2) Change DNS server
Changing DNS to the internet connection can be done, on Android, only by having the smartphone unlocked with Root and installing a specific app.
Among the apps for changing DNS are DNS Changer or Engelsiz DNS Set.
Beware of noroot apps that change DNS, they actually only redirect the connection on their VPN.
3) Remove pre-installed applications and bloatware
Bloatware are those apps that are already installed on your phone, that take up space and that cannot be removed. Android provides a way to disable applications pre-installed by the device manufacturer, but not to uninstall them.
An app like Root Uninstaller or NoBloat instead allows you to uninstall pre-installed apps, but it only works with ROOT access on the system.
This however is a delicate operation because removing an integrated search app could cause instability and malfunctions of the whole mobile phone. It is better to do this only in case the internal memory is finished.
4) Access to mobile phone hardware and processor overclocking
Rooting Android means being able to access the smartphone's hardware resources to take full advantage of it. With Android root it is possible to perform operations such as battery calibration, screen calibration and, above all, CPU overclocking.
You can increase the CPU power of your mobile phone or lower it to save battery by using apps like Trickster MOD Kernel Settings.
5) Management of application permissions
When installing an app, Android asks that the user accept the permissions that the app requires. If you want to change these permissions, you can get more control over permissions with applications such as LBE Privacy Guard that I talked about in the article on how to authorize the permissions of applications on Android
6) Use USB sticks
On a tablet like the Nexus 7, once you unlock the tablet with root permissions, it becomes possible to insert USB sticks and use them as on computers.
The only thing you need is a USB OTG cable that you can buy for a few Euros on Amazon and the StickMount application.
With X-Plore File Manager you can then browse the files inside the USB stick as you would with your computer.
7) Full access to the file system
Root allows you to access system files.
With X-Plore File Manager you can look at these files, open them and edit them if you are capable.
8) Move apps to the SD card
On mobile phones with little internal memory it is essential to move all applications, even those that would not allow it, to the SD card. To do this, an app like Link2SD is used, which deceives the system and, using symbolic links, moves the data of the applications making Android believe that they are instead in the internal memory.
9) Streaming on Apple devices with AirPlay
AirAudio is an application that makes Android devices compatible with AirPlay. This allows you to stream music from your device to an AirPlay receiver such as an Apple TV.
10) Remove advertising from applications
Since this is an advertising-supported site, I certainly cannot sponsor a way to remove advertising from applications, even if it exists.
Adaway removes system level, hosts file level advertisements, so you don't load banners from all apps.
