Windows Lite, XPlite and nlite: Shrink Windows and uninstall its components

After an installation of Windows XP we find ourselves with a series of applications and services that for most of the common users are almost unused but cannot be eliminated or uninstalled, for example: Movie Maker, MS Chat, Netmeeting, Outlook Express, Easy access, presentation of Windows, Catalog, Remote Access, Fax, Windows messenger, Hyperterminal and several others as appropriate.
To gain space but also boot speed and an increase in the level of security and operation of XP many programmers and developers have provided applications that allow you to eliminate these components.

Nlite allows you to create a customized Windows installation package by choosing what you want to install and what you want to leave out; It can get to compress XP up to 500 Mega of hard disk space.
Nlite can be downloaded from here: //www.nliteos.com/download.html
Detailed instructions on how to use it are in another article: "Create a customized and integrated and updated automatic Windows XP installation CD.
