Immediate translations on Android from any app, chat and Whatsapp with Google Translate

If already before Google Translate has always been considered among the best applications for each smartphone (in competition with the translator app of Microsoft), it now becomes one of those essential after the new update of its apps, both for Android smartphones and for iPhone.
While on iPhone it is now possible to activate offline translation without internet connection (with the download of the languages which is now no more than 200 MB but just 25 MB), on Android instead a very important function has been added that makes Google Translate a ' system-integrated app, usable from anywhere and from all apps.
In other words, on Android smartphones starting from version 4.2, it is possible to obtain immediate translations from Google Translate in any app you are using always ready whatever app you are using, to see the text written in other languages immediately translated.
Since on Chrome it is already possible to view web pages translated natively, it goes without saying that this system of integration of Google's instant translator into Android becomes very useful for chat and Messenger applications such as Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger or reading apps such as Twitter, where you can immediately get the translation of any message written in one of the 100 languages supported by the translator.
This integration of Google Translate into all Android apps is not automatic, but must be activated .
After downloading and installing the Google Translate app or after updating to the latest version, open the app to display a box asking whether or not to activate the Touch to translate function.
Once activated, it is immediately shown clearly how to use the translator with other apps .
In practice, just touch and hold on any word, phrase or text that appears on the screen and use the copy key that appears at the top (it is the icon with the double square) to make the Google Translate icon appear as floating at the top to the right.
By touching the translator, you can see the translated phrase in your preferred language or change it with another of the supported languages.
In the Google Translate settings you can find some options for the Touch to translate function, choosing the preferred languages and whether or not to show a notification every time it is used.
