Working in computer science and technology: most sought after professions and average salaries

One of the very few work sectors that still maintains a good level of wages is the technological one.
Despite becoming increasingly competitive, it still remains fairly solid, at least when compared to other less innovative sectors.
Even if in Italy politics snubs and seems at times to hinder the growth of the technological, IT and Web-related sectors, the demand for qualified professionals remains at least a decent level, albeit unfortunately with stuck wages.
The fact remains that any company, Italian or even more foreign, at this moment cannot avoid hiring professionals such as software engineers, developers for the mobile sector, IT managers and web marketing experts.
It should be noted that while technological jobs often require technical or engineering studies and some experience in using computers, it is not necessary to be an IT expert in order to enter a company safely but often you will need proven experience, diplomas and degrees related to the sector .
Above all, recent graduates can enter the technological world even if they have done non-technical studies and enter start-ups as interns or in sales positions.
Beyond this, it is interesting to try to draw up a list of the most sought after jobs in the technological field, also trying to understand how much can be paid and what skills would be needed .
Unfortunately, I must note a lack of official ISTAT data in this regard, above all because the jobs in the technology, IT and web sector are grouped into macro categories related to the engineering and tertiary sector, so we will have to base the results on the job applications present online (and the wages they promise to get), questions that can be easily found through search engines designed for the purpose.
After this necessary premise, let's see together the most sought after professional positions in the technological field in Italy .
The estimate of the annual salary is gross and varies according to the years of experience and the size of the company in which he works.
In addition to the estimate of the annual salary, we added the hourly payment figure (very useful for making calculations on part-time jobs) and a graph from which you can derive your economic position compared to the other jobs that can be done in Italy.
I anticipate from the outset that working in the IT or technology sector will take you well above the national average of wages, a clear sign that in this field the job is "well paid" (at least in most cases!).
1) IT Manager (average salary around € 27, 000 per year, around € 14 per hour)

3) Mobile Developer (average salary around € 33, 000 per year, around € 17 per hour)

Thanks to the growing need for mobility and with the development of portable technologies, the figure of the mobile developer is in great demand on the market currently even if in Italy it is underpaid and poorly exploited.
The widespread diffusion of smartphones and tablets makes it essential to adapt common web technologies in order to create mobile versions of sites and applications.

Depending on the company, these roles can also be separated or merged into the same person.
Network systems analysts monitor the efficiency of a company's network systems, including local area networks (LAN), networks (WAN), the Internet and intranets.
Some companies label this position as a network engineer, while others hire network engineers to configure infrastructure from scratch, plan and implement plans to establish a new network.
5) Commercial (call center operator, around € 22, 000 per year, around € 11 per hour)

Sales are a great way for new graduates to get started, although sometimes it may not be the job you expect.
The commercial aspect in the technology sector can be a call center role or, going up a level, a proposal for new projects to companies with the so-called presale or Presales Engineer role.
Salaries for this reason vary widely, say from 20, 000 Euros upwards, depending on the company and its customers.
Under this heading all those "modern" roles can be combined.
6) Web profiles (average salary between 40, 000 and 70, 000 Euros per year)
