People can be searched on Facebook in different ways, especially after the introduction of Facebook Graph Search, the new way to search already available for everyone (for now you can use it by putting the English language on Facebook). We are looking for the names of known people to add to friends, or names of ex, famous people, particular photos, people who like certain things and so on.
Well, every search you do on Facebook using the bar at the top is tracked and remembered in the activity log .
Even if this history of the searches made remains hidden in a safe and private way in our account with privacy set on " Only me ", it can always be an irresistible curiosity for family or friends who can, perhaps because they use the same computer, enter our profile.
If you want to be more relaxed and avoid any risk that someone might peek at the searches made, especially if you have searched for potentially embarrassing names or words, you can delete this history .
To delete the history of searches made on Facebook, you must open the activity log by pressing the button on the main page of the diary / profile, under the cover photo.
The Activity Log is a story of everything you do on Facebook, messages, likes and comments are stored here.
The Activity Log also stores your search history, so if you log into someone else's account, to see who and what they searched for, you have to go here.
From the left sidebar, going under the heading " Photos ", " Like " and " Comments ", press the " Other " button and find " Search ".
Click on Search and look at the entire history of searches made on the right, sorted by date.
At the top right there is the button to press to clear the searches and all your search history will be cleared without leaving a trace! |
This button is a point of no return, once confirmed the cancellation of the searches, it will no longer be recoverable.
