This is not a trivial sentence to start the article because, in my view, with the spread of smartphones and the progressive (but slow) decrease in mobile internet rates, it will be increasingly convenient and easier to exchange messages via Facebook, Messenger or other chat platforms or social networks.
Anyway, beyond my prediction, SMS are now used and sent by everyone, still at high rates, especially if sent from abroad.
