Voice search allows all owners of an Android smartphone to find information on the internet by talking on their mobile phone on the Google search application. Now the voice search can also be done from the computer, speaking the built-in microphone on the laptop or any other external microphone connected to the PC.
This is the main news brought by Google with the new Chrome browser update, arrived at version number 27.
The voice search in Italian on Chrome for PC can be activated directly from the Google.it page by pressing the microphone icon that appears in the search box or by pressing the combination of keys Ctrl + Shift + Point .
As Google writes on the presentation and activation page of this function, voice search is useful for searching for words or phrases that are difficult to write, long sentences and more fun or curious requests, to see what Google answers.
Voice search is useful in all cases where you have your hands busy, in the kitchen or garage.
At the moment the operation is intermittent and often you receive an error message " no internet connection " obviously due to them and not to us.

Voice search graphically looks like Google Now on Android Jelly Bean and also works well for answering a certain type of question.
