Where is Internet Explorer in Windows 10

After installing Windows 10, the less experienced users, those who until then had not used any browser other than Internet Explorer, could find themselves displaced by discovering that Internet Explorer is no longer there.
In its place you will see a blue icon appear with one and a half retorts that opens a completely different browser called Microsoft Edge, one of the main novelties of Windows 10.
As already explained, Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 is the heir of Internet Explorer, completely different, with some more functions, others less.
This important change should make it clear that the development of Internet Explorer is no longer in Microsoft's plans and that we should no longer use it in favor of Edge or other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox.
However, if, for any reason, you want to continue using Internet Explorer in Windows 10, even only at certain times or with certain sites that do not open well with other browsers (such as public administration sites), it is important to know that it is not completely disappeared, only that it remains hidden.
To open Internet Explorer in Windows 10 there are two ways.
The first way is through Microsoft Edge .
From Edge, open a site like www.navigaweb.net, then go to the menu at the top right (the one with the three dots) to find the Open option on Internet Explorer .
The page you were viewing on Edge will then open in Internet Explorer.
However, if you want to use Internet Explorer by launching it from its icon, you have to search for it using the search box of the Start menu on the desktop and write Internet Explorer.
Once found, press the right mouse button on its icon and then press on Add to Start to add it to the start menu and then Add to taskbar to display the start icon at the bottom and have it at hand.
If Internet Explorer cannot be found from the Start menu search, it must be found in its default folder.
In theory it should be found in the list of all applications from the Start menu, under the Windows Accessories folder.
If for some strange reason it wasn't even there, then go to the folder
C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Internet Explorer (on Windows 10 64 bit)
C: \ Program Files \ Internet Explorer (on Windows 10 32 bit)
You will find the file iexplore.exe which can be copied to the desktop by pressing on it with the right mouse button, going to Send to -> Desktop and then, from the same menu, it can be added to Start.
If you use it frequently you can set Internet Explorer as the default browser by opening the Windows 10 settings from the Start menu, in System> Apps and features or by going to the Control Panel, to the section Default programs> Set default programs, finding Internet Explorer from the list.
