Create custom Windows 10 ISO

Microsoft has greatly simplified the installation procedure of its operating system and in Windows 10 and before 8, really, you just need to follow the automatic download and update procedure of Windows 8 or by creating the Windows 10 installation DVD.
The only problem with installing any Windows system is the inability to choose whether to exclude or include the various functions available.
For this reason, both Microsoft and an independent developer have created a new tool that can be used free of charge by everyone, which allows you to create a light and personalized Windows 8 Lite installation CD, giving you the opportunity to choose which components to install .

It takes a necessary premise.
Those who buy Windows 10 would probably be better off with the standard and automatic installation without using external programs.
You can create your custom Windows 10 installation disc when you want to keep a disc ready to use it on other computers (if you are licensed to do so) or to reinstall the system when you need it .
For its purpose, since you can choose the system components to be included or excluded, it is possible to reduce Windows 8 which can thus be installed and work well even on less spacious disks.
As you can also create a custom installation CD for Windows 7, XP and Vista, the same is true for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1.
There are at least two programs that can be used to create the customized and / or reduced ISO of Windows 10 :
1) Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 10 and 8.1 which is an official Microsoft tool dedicated to systems engineers of companies and offices when they need to install the system on all the computers of a structure, equipped with an OEM license.
2) WinReducer is an easy-to-use program to create your own automatic and customized installation CD from Windows 10 and 8.1 .
WinReducer is a portable application and its ZIP archive downloadable from the Winreducer.net developer site, contains both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the tool.
After extracting the files, simply run the version appropriate for your computer. The ISO file must be extracted to a folder on the computer or mounted as a virtual CD (see guide for mounting a virtual CD to open ISO files and disk images). If you are using Windows 10 you can mount an ISO by simply right clicking on the file.
After downloading WinReducer, run the executable file corresponding to the version of Windows you are running (32 or 64 bit).
The tool, all in English, will ask to open the folder in which the Windows 8 ISO was extracted and then it must be selected (if you are using the virtual cd, select it from My Computer). After uploading the files, Winreducer can be configured in three stages.
In the first you can choose the components and therefore reduce the size of the installation of Windows 10 or 8 .
In this case, just select the files and applications that you want to exclude, without cutting the important things. In the personalization tab you can set the desktop and lock screen wallpaper. In the Unhattended ( automatic ) tab, instead, you can write the Windows 10 activation code . In this way there will no longer be the need to insert it other times and the installation will be automatic and completely consecutive, without interruptions. At the end you can click on Apply to create the new ISO: after the upload finishes, select where it says " Save in Wim File and create new ISO ". The new ISO can now be burned to a DVD or copied to a bootable USB stick to install Windows 10 and 8 on a computer. Note the clean Windows installation guide and comments, especially if you have a problem activating the license. Also be careful because a Windows license only applies to a single computer.
