Options Advanced startup in Windows 10

Microsoft has optimized the boot cycle of the Windows 10 and 8 operating system so that the computer can turn on faster than before. Due to this change, it is more difficult to access the computer's boot menu and then enter safe mode or use other advanced options such as system recovery or the choice menu for boot from DVD or USB.
The F8 key in Windows 10 and 8 only works if you are very quick to press it and not on newer computers.
As already explained in the guide to start Windows in safe mode, in Windows 10 you must first go to the advanced startup options by going to the right side menu and then press on Settings -> Update and security -> Recovery and then, under Advanced Start, press on Restart Now button. Once the PC restarts, you can go to Troubleshooting> Advanced Options to find all the advanced startup options, among which there is also the one to restart the computer in safe mode .
However, this method cannot be used if the operating system no longer starts correctly.

Note that the advanced startup of Windows 10 appears automatically in the event that the startup fails two or more times . You can then open the recovery console screen even by turning the computer off and on when it is loading, before the login screen appears.
In the initial screen of the advanced startup there are only three buttons, one to reset the PC (without deleting the data), one to continue and one with the Troubleshooting which contains the advanced options, the most useful and important ones. Here you can use the various tools to automatically solve boot problems, to restore the previous system configuration, to upload a backup from a system image, to change the boot options (which is used to enter safe mode), to open UEFI BIOS options, to go back to the previous version and then other recovery options that include the command prompt, from which you can save files or change the system configuration (you will need to search for specific help depending on the error encountered).
