Screenshot capture screen on PC, Mac, Samsung, Huawei, iPhone

One of the most frequently searched operations on computers is that of the screenshot for instant screen capture .
The screenshot is used to save what you are viewing on a computer monitor as an image, as if you were taking a photo on the screen.
Although there are several programs for saving the screen as an image, the easiest way to take a screenshot is by using a combination of keys.
This screen capture can be done on Windows PC, on Mac, on Android smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy and Huawei P8 P9 P10 and also on iPhone and iPad, in different ways that we are here to schematize quickly and clearly.
1) Windows screenshot
On Windows the standard way to capture the screen is to press the Stamp key (visible in the upper right near F12 also with the name R Sist or PrintScr ) on the keyboard.
The problem is that by pressing this button, Windows says nothing to the user and seems to have no effect.
In reality, however, the Stamp key temporarily saves the screen image to the internal Windows "clipboard", waiting to be pasted somewhere.
You will then have to open a program such as Word, Paint or Itrfanview and press the Paste key to see the screenshot.
A different key combination like Alt-Stamp saves the screenshot only of the active window, always copying it to the clipboard and waiting to be pasted into some program.
Since this is a very inconvenient method, Windows has a program already included, called the Capture Tool, which can be found from the Start menu by writing in the "Capture" search field.
The capture tool allows you to save screen screnshot or an area of the screen.

In Windows 8 and Windows 10 you can instead press the Windows-Stamp keys together to save the screenshot image directly and automatically in the Images / screenshots folder (also in this case Windows does not give any confirmation on the operation, but by opening the screenshot you will find the screen photo).
Only with Windows 10 it is possible to use the key combination Windows Shift S to be able to select the area to be saved in the screenshot, which will then be pasted onto an image viewing program.
2) Mac screenshot
The key combination for taking a screenshot on Mac is Cmd Shift 3 .
The image is automatically saved to the desktop.
you can also press Cmd Shift Ctrl 3, all together to save the screenshot to the clipboard ready to be pasted into an image program.
Use the Cmd Shift 4 keys to open the tool for selecting an area of the screen to be saved
You can also save only the window of an open program by pressing the Cmd Shift 4 keys together, then holding down the bar and clicking the window to be selected.
On Macs there is also a screen capture tool for those who need more options such as the delayed screenshot or changing the area to be selected.
The program is called Snapshot, it is located in the Other folder and has the icon of a scissors.
The captured image is opened with Preview and can then be saved permanently.
3) Android screenshot
On Android smartphones and tablets, such as Samsung or Huawei, the screen can be obtained by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together (i.e. the shutdown, lock or power button), holding them down until you hear the sound of the taking a photo.
On some smartphones, you can also press the Volume Down and Center buttons.
The method is rather inconvenient, so on some phones the screenshot button is placed in the button bar of the notification bar.
Alternatively, you can always use an app, as seen in the guide on how to take screenshots on Android, Samsung and Huawei smartphones
4) iPhone and iPad screenshots
To save the iPhone screen as an image, you must press the Home button (the one in the center) and the button that turns the screen on and off (the one at the top or on the side).
The image is automatically saved to a Snapshot album located on the Photos app.
