Flash with low quality on Chrome and Firefox for better performance

Those who use Firefox or Chrome to surf the internet but have a slower and older PC or even if they are used to keeping dozens of tabs open at the same time, may find it difficult to run flash animations correctly, videos and even online games.
This time the fault is not so much of Firefox (which however consumes a lot of memory) or of Chrome, but rather of the PC which, having limited resources, suffers from the heaviest sites, those rich in animation and online games.
Recently, for example, on an old PC I noticed a lot of slowness (lag) with the game The Sims on Facebook, in flash, which sent the computer into crisis occupying the full power of the processor.
If you have performance problems on Youtube videos or other sites, on flash games or on other applications, in addition to recommending an update of Adobe Flash to the latest version, you can also configure a lowering of the visual quality on the Flash plugin .
Whichever browser you use, if you right-click on a game, video or flash element, from the context menu you can lower it to medium or low quality with minimal differences.
However, this setting does not remain fixed and standard and every time you open a new flash game or a video, you have to reset this option every time.
On Firefox you can fix this setting with the Low Quality Flash extension.
The extension modifies the HTML source code and forces you to load low quality Flash elements .
This decrease is an automatic process that is activated every time a web page is loaded that contains advertisements, videos, games or other elements in Flash.
By lowering the quality of Flash, you should get an increase (not so relevant unfortunately) in the overall performance of internet browsing, decrease in lag and faster page loading.
The add-on works on most sites, but not all; (where you can't see the difference).
Also for Google Chrome there is an extension to automatically change the quality of Flash and impose a low quality display when there are games, videos or animations.
Flash Render Quality installs on Chrome and remains in the background.
You have to access the options of the extension ( from the general menu -> Tools> extensions ) and set the high, medium or low quality of the Flash plugin.
These extensions can be useful not only to those who have less powerful or older PCs but also to improve the performance of heavier sites when too many tabs are opened.
I also remember that you can optimize the viewing of streaming videos by raising hardware acceleration, a topic that is quite a topic on which I have already expressed my personal opinion.
For the Mozilla browser instead there are 7 extensions that allow you to lower the consumption of RAM memory on Firefox among which I recommend choosing at least one.
