Check Iliad remaining credit and counter offers

Among the new mobile operators available for our modern smartphones, Iliad has also been available for some time, which started out big with targeted and extremely cheap offers, without sacrificing the contents offered (it is among the best in terms of the amount of GB and minutes offered). If we have decided to subscribe to one of the subscriptions available with this operator, we will surely have noticed that there is no system for checking the residual traffic, a screen for checking all the meters (for GB, minutes and SMS) and in general a good one. official app to check every aspect of our subscription.
In this guide we will show you how to check the remaining credit and the counters offered on Iliad both using the browsers integrated in the smartphones and using the unofficial apps available for download on Android and iOS.

1) Web browser
The first method to control Iliad's credit and consumption does not involve installing an official app, since we can control everything from the Iliad website, accessible with any browser.
From Android we recommend using Google Chrome or the integrated browser, while on iPhone we can use the Safari browser.
Alternatively we can download Google Chrome from here -> Google Chrome (Android) and Google Chrome (iOS).
Once the preferred browser has been opened on our smartphone, click on the address bar at the top and type in iliad.it, which can also be reached from here -> Iliad .
As soon as we go to the website, click on the Personal Area menu, then enter the login credentials provided when signing up for the subscription (they should have arrived together with the welcome email).
We will finally have access to the personal area, where the offer we have used will appear in plain sight.

In order to check the residual credit and the traffic thresholds exploited so far, we click on the button with the three horizontal lines on the left, then select the Consumption and credit menu.
We will immediately see the various Internet counters, minutes, MMS and SMS, as well as the residual credit viewer at the top.

If we want to check the counters for abroad, just click on the menu at the top of the foreign country, so we can see which part of our offer is usable when we go out of Italy for a trip or a holiday.
By saving the credentials entered in the browser we can quickly access this page and, to check even faster, we can add a shortcut to this page directly in the home of the device.
With Google Chrome for Android and iOS, we can add the shortcut to the Iliad page by opening the site, clicking on the three dots at the top right and selecting the Add to Home screen item.
On Safari for iPhone we can do the same thing by opening the Iliad page and clicking at the bottom of the icon with the square and up arrow (iOS share button) and selecting the Add to Home option.
Now we will have a quick shortcut to access the screen of the meters and the remaining credit for Iliad, both when we are connected via WiFi and when we use the Iliad 4G mobile network.
2) Unofficial Iliad app for Android

If we really can't resist the temptation to have an app for Iliad, we can use the unofficial ones which, by interfacing with the site, allow you to immediately get the screens we want with lots of notifications and widgets (in some cases). Obviously using this app could be a problem for the security of our account, which could end up in the hands of the developer or anyone else: use these apps only if we can not do without a dedicated app and we have not been able to create the shortcut to Iliad (much safer).
The best unofficial apps for Android have all been retired.
An official Iliad app to consider is the one to manage the answering machine; this app can be downloaded from here -> Iliad Visual Secretariat .
Even if designed to access voicemail, by opening its settings we can also find the account details, which will refer to the same page that we have at the beginning of the guide, without opening any browser.
Not exactly the best, but it is currently the only way to have an official Iliad app to check the remaining credit and the counters, even if it was not born for this purpose.
3) Iliad unofficial iPhone app
If we have an iPhone, we currently do not even have unofficial apps to be exploited as seen on Android, but we will only have to use the apps that take into account our traffic limits and can adapt to it every month, so as to have at least a control over the GB in real time (for minutes and SMS, better access the web page).
The app that we recommend using on iPhone to control data traffic is My Data Manager, available for download from here -> My Data Manager .

By setting this app with the deadlines and the traffic threshold offered by Iliad, we will be able to check at any time how much data we are consuming, when it is missing when the threshold is reached and above all obtain alarm notifications on data consumption or as the limit approaches .
The Data Shield system also prevents from consuming more data than expected, automatically blocking the data connection if necessary: we will never exceed the limit offered by Iliad (even if finishing 30 or 50 GB is really difficult on smartphones!).
Alternatively, simply install the Workflow app to get information on traffic thresholds for Iliad.
Once installed on the iPhone we download the dedicated workflow from here -> Iliad Wordflow .
On the page that opens we set our username in the Iliad customer area under the entry login-ident and the Iliad password in the login-pwd field .
Now just press the wheel at the top right to set it as a widget ( Today Widget ), then click on Done at the bottom.
Now we add the Workflow widget to the iPhone widget screen, swiping right from the home and clicking Edit, so as to add the Iliad thresholds as an iPhone widget.
