I am insisting a bit, in some articles, on the topic of the phone book because I keep hearing people say they have lost their phone numbers after breaking the smartphone or after changing it. The problem is that some think of the smartphone as an old cell phone where the phone numbers were stored on the SIM card. In modern smartphones, however, the address book can be imported from the SIM card, into the account used for the smartphone which, in the case of an Android / Samsung / HTC / LG and others, is the Google address book, while for the iPhone it is the address book saved in Apple iCloud. This means that the contact directory is recovered on every Android and iPhone mobile phone .
The only thing that can create a problem is the transition from an Android phone to an iPhone or the other way around.
Even if we have already seen how to backup and synchronize the contacts of an iPhone on the Google address book, here we see some really quick and fast applications to transfer and, therefore, synchronize, the contacts of the iPhone address book on an Android, Samsung or any mobile phone it is.
Obviously, using a specific app, you will get other advantages and, for example, it will also be possible to transfer SMS and other data such as photos or personal files.
It is, in fact, to connect to iCloud from an Android phone in order to recover the address book and everything that has been saved in the cloud backup provided by Apple for the iPhone.

1) Sync for iCloud Contacts is a simple application that connects to iCloud to import contacts to the address book of your Android phone.
It does not require you to register or create a new account, but only to enter your iCloud credentials (username and password).
In the Settings tab, the synchronization option allows you to keep the phonebook of the Android phone updated with that of the iPhone, ideal if you use both smartphones.
2) iCloud Contacts Sync is a similar app, which works the same way and which requires access to iCloud, for synchronizing the address book on the Android phone.

To work, you need to install both the app on the iPhone and the app on the Android phone.
The app, in addition to the synchronization of contacts, also allows you to manage the address book from your PC or Mac on the application's website and to merge duplicates.
The address book backup is secure and private, that is, encrypted, on the application server.

Those who have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone do not need to use other apps because they will find the contact import tool, the Samsung Smart Switch, in their phone.

The transfer takes place wirelessly from device to device, or via connection to iCloud.
