Continue to work on PC, smartphone or tablet

Nowadays we are increasingly using smartphones and tablets to browse sites and to inform us of what is happening in the world, relegating the PC and notebook to purely business use.
It can happen, however, to find an article or note to be absolutely wanted to use when we return to the PC or to another device; in these cases, the presence of a common space to share among all the devices in use helps, so as not to risk forgetting something.
In this guide we will show you how to use some apps and some free services to share notes and website links between different devices, to continue working on PCs, smartphones and tablets, using the Internet as a common space where you can temporarily store everything we read or that we want to calmly review in front of a larger monitor.

1) Telegram
Many do not yet know Telegram but this app has become a bitter rival of WhatsApp, presenting a whole series of innovative features.
Among the new features there is also the Saved messages section, a private chat not visible to anyone else that can be used as a personal space where you can save images, hand-written and dictated notes, links to websites, videos, documents and anything else, so as to retrieve them later from another Telegram compatible station or device.
To use this common space we install the Telegram app for free for Android or for Apple devices using the links present here -> Telegram (Android) and Telegram (iOS).
Once installed, register by entering the phone number we are using or creating an account with email and password (like any other web service).
Now that Telegram is ready, all we have to do is wait for the right moment to save a content, using the Share button present in any web browser or while using other apps (for example on Instagram we can share the displayed image); we select the Telegram app as the goal of sharing.

The Telegram app will open, where we will have to do is choose the Chat Saved messages (present for convenience always on top of all the other chats) as the sharing destination.

Content is now safe on the Internet!
To access and retrieve the content saved on the chat, simply install Telegram on another portable device (even at the same time, this app does not set limits in this sense) or alternatively use the free chat program available for Windows, GNU / Linux and Mac from the links here -> Telegram (for Windows), Telegram (MacOS) and Telegram (GNU / Linux).
If we cannot install apps on work PCs due to an administrative block, we can still use Telegram in its Web version, running inside the browser without installing anything; the Web version is accessible from here -> Telegram (Web).
Telegram apps and website can be used simultaneously and without the need to leave the smartphone on!
2) Pushbullet
Another service that we can use to share notes, links and images between various devices is Pushbullet.
This service is presented as an app, as an extension and as a program to be installed on any known browser, operating system or portable device, so as to connect them to each other for the rapid sharing of content.
The service requires registration, but nothing difficult: we can use both the registration via email and password and use quick access through the Google account.
If we want to share the contents present in a Web browser on the PC, it will be sufficient to add the right extension from one present here -> Pushbullet (Google Chrome), Pushbullet (Mozilla Firefox), Pushbullet (Safari) and Pushbullet (Opera).
Once installed the extension will be placed in the bookmarks bar, ready to be used (just a click on it) to view the contents from other devices that use the service or to share the link, video or image of what we see in the browser tab; the common area is accessible in the Devices or Devices section, where we will find all the added devices.

To make the most of this free service, all we have to do is install the apps on Android or iOS devices or add the application available for Windows, all available at the links here -> Pushbullet (Android) and Pushbullet (Windows).

As already seen on Telegram this app can be used while browsing the web browser from mobile devices or by clicking on the program icon on Windows; once we find the content, we use the Share button and select the Pushbullet app to save the content on the virtual space.
3) Your phone
the Microsoft app for Windows 10, Your Phone, allows you to use your mobile phone from your PC to receive notifications, to send and receive SMS, to see photos of your smartphone and also to make and receive calls from your PC .

4) Evernote
Another very good service to share dictated notes, websites and images between various devices is Evernote.
Evernote was born as a note system shared among multiple users or to save personal To-Do lists (such as shopping lists, operations program etc.), but thanks to the shared space and its presents on all the main devices it can lend itself very well as a tool for sharing via the Internet.
Also in this case registration is required, but just get a valid email address and choose a password to start using the service.
Once registration is complete we install Evernote on mobile devices, using the links here -> Evernote (Android) and Evernote (iOS).

Once logged in, simply use the Share button and select Evernote to save a new note containing the link to the website, the document or the image we intend to save.
Once saved in the common area, simply install Evernote on a PC or use the Web version to view all the saved material; the download link on Windows can be obtained by clicking here -> Evernote (Windows), while the link to the Web version (without installing any programs) is available here -> Evernote Web .
Finally, I would like to point out the Evernote Web Clipper extension, created by the developers to make it even easier to capture links and content from Web browsers for Windows.
We can download this extension from here -> Evernote Web Clipper (Google Chrome) and Evernote Web Clipper (Mozilla Firefox).
