The greater reliability of a Mac also depends on the fact that this computer is produced by a single company, Apple, while Windows PCs can be assembled in thousands of different configurations, which, at times, can lead to instability or driver problems ( especially on older PCs).

8) PC versus Mac: updates and repairs
Unless you buy something unusual, updating or replacing a component in a desktop PC remains an easy operation for anyone, it takes very little capacity to change a RAM memory bank or add / remove a hard disk.
On the Mac, on the other hand, it is easy to only replace or update the RAM memory (on some models) or the hard disk while for the other components it is a work not recommended as well as invalidating the warranty (better in these cases contact an Apple Store for advice).
