Turn your Facebook diary into a video or book

From a collaborative project between Facebook and the marketing agency Definition6, a phenomenal web application was born to review one's life in a minute, taking information from the new Facebook diary.
You can then create the video of the Facebook timeline, a movie accompanied by very captivating music, where you can see short clips of the videos uploaded to your profile and a slideshow of the photos and the main news published.
Timeline Movie Maker transforms the Facebook diary into a video and the film of your life can be created completely automatically only by pressing the " Make Your Movie " button, then giving the application permissions to access the timeline data.
Timeline Movie Maker no longer exists, in its place is Facebook's personalized video story
Timeline Movie Maker analyzes all the posts published chronologically on the diary and selects the photos, videos, places where you have been and the most appreciated updates.
The selection is based on the comments received to identify the highlights of the user's life.
Before seeing the final video you have to wait a few minutes (in some cases it freezes and you have to start again).
When the video is ready, at the bottom there are some options that allow you to edit it .
You can then choose the background music from those available and note how the musical accompaniment also changes the dynamic mix of the video .
Below you can instead select the photos and videos to be included in the film, changing those that have been automatically selected by the Movie Maker.
Just click on a photo to delete it and choose the one that is good.
After viewing the video, two buttons appear, one for sharing it with friends so they can view it on the Facebook diary, the other for reviewing the movie.
The only thing that unfortunately cannot be done is to save the video or repost it on another site or blog.
To record the video you can still use one of the applications to record video from the PC desktop.
Timeline Movie Maker is a powerful and wonderful example of how the synergy between technology and marketing becomes crucial in conducting projects that influence people's emotions.
In the video below you can see an example of the generated video.

This is not, however, the only application capable of creating a video from the Facebook profile.
In the article on the most beautiful websites in flash and HTML5 I had already reported Intel's Facebook Museum .
Museum of Me extracts all information, photos, videos, locations, etc., bringing them to a virtual museum which is displayed in an interactive video animation accompanied by music.
Facebook can also be transformed into a book to browse interactively (no longer exists)
The application is called Postbook .
You just have to choose the reference time period and the application takes everything that has been published on the profile to create the memoir of your life. It also generates a whole series of interesting statistics indicating the friend with whom you interact the most, the frequency of updates, the most tagged friends, the most used words, the most popular photos and so on. Likebook is certainly less surprising than the Movie Maker movie, but it is worth a try, at least for the excellent interactive graphics that simulate reading a real photo book.
