How to create invisible folders on Windows PC (trick)

This is one of the most delicious and classic tricks on Windows that perhaps some do not remember or have never known.
Making a folder invisible means hiding it from the view of those who use the computer and do not know of its existence.
The folder therefore remains present and can be found, but having no name and no icon will be impossible to notice for those who do not know it existed.
It is a trick to create an invisible folder to hide in files that you want to keep private and that you don't want others to be able to open, without having to resort to password protections.
The method is very simple and makes a folder that we want to keep private and personal invisible to others.
First of all create a new folder where you want, right click on it and go to Properties .
In the Customize tab, press the Change icon button and, from the list, search for and select one of the empty icons.
Once the folder icon has been removed, the name must be reset.
By trying to rename a folder you will find that Windows does not accept that it is unnamed.
The trick then is to rename the folder in this way : press on it with the right button, press on Rename from the menu and then, when the name is selected in blue, hold down the ALT key on the keyboard and type in the numbers 0160, leave ALT and press Enter .
The folder will then become invisible and only that it has transformed it in this way will be able to know of its existence to open it.
With this system you can easily create invisible folders on Windows in any area of the disk.
The invisible folder can be visible for one or two seconds if placed on the desktop, in the initial Windows loading refresh.
Furthermore, the presence of a folder, even without name and without icon, is discovered if the files are listed in the "details" view mode.
Alternatively, a smart way to make a folder invisible is to put it in a crowded area of other folders (which is not under C: / Windows) and give it a "system" name such as, for example, " Shell " or Libs or shared or whatever you want, as long as it's impossible to recognize for those who don't know.
