We have seen many ways to improve computer performance and in this summary we see what can be done for free, that is, without spending anything on the purchase of spare parts or software. If there is nothing broken, in fact, there is a good chance that the computer is not used to its full potential and that, consequently, it can be improved.
Without false promises of miracles or magic, we see here how it is possible to have a better computer with these tips and operations that can be done at no cost to make the PC faster, to increase performance, quality and efficiency in daily operations .
1) Clean the computer, inside and out
If the computer is not new, it is almost certainly dirty inside.
Dirt and dust are not only unsightly on the outside, but they are also the main cause of the problems of overheating inside and, consequently, of the noise of the fans which must run faster and make more noise.
Overheating for prolonged periods can also lead to deterioration of the processor or circuits on the motherboard and sudden shutdown of the PC.

2) Create a more comfortable and ergonomic workspace
It seems like something trivial, but taking care of the computer workstation makes the work less heavy and less stressful for the legs, eyes and back.

3) Calibrate the monitor
If the monitor has never been calibrated since it was purchased, it is worth doing it now to see if they improve the image and colors.
You can use the built-in color calibration tool with Windows or, if using a Mac, in the OS X system.
The screen calibration tool in Windows is located in the screen options accessible from the Control Panel.

4) Improve the configuration of the stereo speakers
Anyone who owns a set of 2.1 or 5.1 speakers and has never configured the computer sound options could receive a great benefit from installing the updated sound card driver and using the manufacturer's sound configuration program, so as to adapt the sounds to the room in which you are and according to your taste.

5) Reassign unused keys
There are keys on any computer keyboard that you never use.
For example the Caps Lock or those on the right called Pusa, Home, Fine, Bloc Scor, bloc num, Ins etc.

If, one day, we went to buy a new mechanical keyboard then the computer will have improved significantly.

That speed preset by the manufacturer, therefore, is not at all the maximum possible and thanks to an overclock you can release all the power of the hardware.

Also, again to improve processor performance, you can use programs to optimize CPU usage so that it is never 100% occupied by blocking everything.
8) Optimize Windows
In the same way that a processor is configured to work not at maximum power, the Windows system is also set up after a new installation to work well and without errors on practically every type of computer.
However, it is not said that the default is the best possible configuration for us, so there are always opportunities to improve the performance of the operating system.
