Receive gifts on Amazon by creating the wish list

While the little ones will still be able to write the letter to Santa Claus, to let others know what gifts they would like to receive at Christmas or a birthday or for an organized party (even a wedding or a baptism for example), it is possible to create the list of you want on Amazon and share it with others.
Using an Amazon wish list as a list to receive Christmas gifts or a party certainly has many advantages.
First of all, given that probably those who make the gift will still use Amazon, thanks to the wish list they will know exactly which gift we want, without the possibility of making mistakes.
With the wish list shared between friends and relatives, you will not run the risk of receiving double gifts, because every time a product is bought it will be crossed off the list and everyone will be able to see it.
The list is in fact automatically updated and also when a new product is added to the wish list and all those who can access it will be able to see the changes in the list, products added or already given away.
Sharing the list is easy and immediate, with a unique link just to copy and paste in an Email or even in a message on Whatsapp or Messenger.
Once the selected gifts have been purchased, they will be automatically sent to the shipping address of the person who made the list with a personalized message attached by the person who made the gift.
Furthermore, if you create a list with many products, the gift maker can choose what he wants and therefore maintain the surprise effect without letting the recipient know what he has bought.

To create a wish list on Amazon, log in to the account from the main site and then go to Accounts and Lists at the top and click on Your lists .
In the upper right corner of the window, click on " Create a new list " and choose Your Lists, then giving a name to the list such as "Christmas List".
In the visibility option, mark the list as " Private ".
With the list created, you can now add items to it, i.e. products for sale on Amazon.
In any product page that opens, press on the arrow next to " Add to list " on the right side of the window and choose the Christmas list or the Birth list.
That item will be immediately added to the list.
Once one or more products have been added to the list, you can share the desired gift list with friends and family by going to Your Lists again from the top menu and then clicking on the link on the right " Send the list to others ".
From the pop-up window, write the email addresses of the people who must receive the list and can see it.
In case you want a public link to be pasted in a text message on Facebook or on Whatsapp, you need to set up the public list.
In this case, anyone with the link will be able to view the Christmas list or the Birth list or the Wedding list to buy us a gift.
In case you want to include in the wish list products that Amazon does not sell, you can install the Amazon Assistant extension on your browser to add it anyway.
Once installed on Chrome or Firefox, you can visit the site that sells the desired product not present on Amazon and add it to the wish list.
People with whom the list is shared will be able to see, instead of the buy button, a link to the website that sells the product even if it is not Amazon.
Returning to the list, you can press the button with three dots next to the link to send it to others to find the " Manage list " option.
Here you can change the visibility of the list by making it public, you can write a description, indicate the shipping address and then tick the surprise option .
This option ensures that the recipient of the gift does not know what has been taken by the one who makes it, even if of course it will be one of those saved in the list.
In this case, if you try to buy a product already given, you will receive a warning not to buy it twice.
