Ways to share internet connection from Smartphone

In offices or even at home, to have internet on all computers, the most convenient thing is to buy a wifi router that distributes the connection to all computers and creates an internal wireless network.
If instead there is no wifi connection, if the home line goes away for some reason and the internet does not work, if there is not even a way to connect to the modem via cable, then the only way to connect to the internet from the PC is to use a smartphone and its data connection.
In fact, from a smartphone it is possible to share the internet connection so that the PC sees a new wifi network to connect to.
In this way, any other computer or tablet can connect to the internet using the phone's subscription data plan.

To share the connection from the smartphone there are different ways depending on whether the mobile phone is one with an Android system (such as the Samsung Galaxy, Huawei and Honor or other brands) or with an iOS system such as the iPhone.
It is also possible to share the connection either via cable, directly via wifi or even using Bluetooth.
1) Share the connection from Android
On an Android smartphone, you can share your phone's data internet connection in three ways.
Going to Phone Settings and then to the section dedicated to Wireless and networks, you will find the function called Tethering or Portable Hotspot .
Going to the configuration of the portable hotspot, you can then activate the hotspot, share the internet via Bluetooth or via USB cable.
The hotspot function is, of course, the simplest and most convenient one to share the internet from your Android smartphone, also because it can be used to connect multiple computers to the internet together, while the other two are exclusive to a single PC.
By activating the hotspot, you create a full-fledged wifi network, with a login name and password that you can choose from.
From the computer, therefore, you can find the name of the network from the list of available wifi networks and connect.
Internet sharing via Bluetooth works well if the PC also has a bluetooth connection.
Even if it consumes less battery, data transmission via bluetooth may be slower.
Also connecting to the internet via bluetooth from the PC is not at all intuitive, you have to go to Devices and Printers from the Control Panel and then right click on the icon of the connected mobile phone to use the C onnetti option via> Direct connection .
Sharing via USB requires you to connect the phone's charging cable to your PC.
Once the option is activated, the presence of a cable network as if it were ADSL will appear on the PC and the internet connection will be immediately active.
