Yahoo's attempts to give its famous Flickr photo sharing service a new and glorious life, led first to the restructuring of the site and now to the updating of the applications for Android and iPhone, which is now really worth having. The apps have been completely redesigned for both platforms and allow you to watch the best photos published by other users as you would in Instagram.
The best use you can make of Flicks on your mobile phone, however, is for private use, uploading all the photos of the smartphone in its huge 1TB (or 1000GB) space granted free of charge to everyone at the time of registration.
In practice, Flickr becomes an almost infinite cloud space in which to save your photos in original format (better then Google+), without having to worry about paying for additional space and without having to resize the images.

With the new Flickr without limits, you can take full advantage of its applications for iPhone and Android to make an automatic and synchronized upload of the photos taken with the camera of the mobile phone . The photos will be saved in private mode and, optionally, they can be shared within Flickr.
The photos will be saved in Flickr including metadata or all the information regarding the camera used, the position where it was taken, the exposure and much more. The function is called Auto-Uploadr and, if activated, is performed in the background only when you have wifi connection.
Flickr also includes the camera for taking photos including Instagram-style filters and sharing features, which also allows you to record videos that can be shot in HD mode for up to 30 seconds. The application allows you to write captions on photos before any private or public sharing.
Flickr can be downloaded as an app for Android and iPhone, free of charge, from the respective stores.
