Spotify has become a bit the most used streaming music site / app in the world and, even if made available only in 2013, also in Italy. You can download Spotify for PC, you can listen to the best music of the week online and, from today, you can also listen to music from Spotify for free and streaming from the app for iPhone, iPad and Android.
Until now, the Spotify mobile app was only free for a few hours, then you had to subscribe to the premium paid subscription; now you can listen to music without interruptions, free and forever from your mobile phone, iPad or Android tablet connected to the internet and even offline .
To use the app for free, you need to download the latest version of Spotify for iPhone and iPad and for Android.
The app works well even if it is not without limits in its free use.
What you cannot do is to hear specific songs, that is, you cannot search for a title and listen to that song as you would on Youtube instead.
Instead, what you can do is listen to music without interruptions using the playlists saved by the site or by the Spotify program, both those created by us and those shared by other users.
Playlists must have at least 20 songs and be composed of at least three albums, without repeatedly containing the same tracks.
You can then search for music by specific artists and hear songs chosen at random for that singer or you can choose a musical genre and let Spotify automatically select the music.
Of course there will be advertisements that disappear only in the case of a premium subscription.
The really good thing is that playlists can also be made available offline and can therefore be listened to even if the mobile phone or tablet is not connected to the internet.
In practice, you can prepare a list of songs at home which can then be listened to on your mobile phone wherever you go, without the need for the internet.
The Spotify application, now that it can be used for free, certainly becomes comfortable to listen to music from your mobile phone using it as a radio on demand and it is added to other applications that we have already talked about.
