How to Send Memoji and Animoji from Whatsapp for Android

In the new operating system released by Apple for iPhone, iOS 13, the possibility of being able to send the smiley stickers Animoji (animated) and Memoji (Emoji based on your face) in almost all the messaging apps, therefore also on Whatsapp, has been added . From now, therefore, you will start to see these nice Apple stickers on all chats, whatever the smartphone used.
The problem is that these Animoji and Memoji, being an exclusive function, can only be created and sent from an iPhone and not on Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi or any other Android smartphone.
To send a Memoji or Animoji to Whastapp from an Android phone it is therefore necessary to create them using an iPhone, send them to your Android smartphone in a chat and then save them to be able to reuse them. alternatively it is also possible to use an external app as we will see at the end.
Animoji and Memoji have a design created exclusively by Apple for its devices and are well recognizable faces, full of details, with a certain 3D depth that makes them realistic and certainly more meaningful and personalized than the normal traditional yellow Emojis. Therefore to create the Memoji it is necessary to have an iPhone and create a set of Animoj and Memoji stickers to be used also on the Android smartphone.

Create the Memoji

To create a personalized Memoji with your face on an iPhone follow these steps.
Launch the default keyboard on iPhone from any window, for example from a WhatsApp chat, and touch the writing field.
Then touch the Emoji icon on the keyboard and in the Memoji section, also visible in the list of recent Emojis, touch the icon with three points. From the Memoji popup, press on New Memoji and customize the face with the characteristics of your face to make it look like we really are. Tap Finish when you're done creating the Memoji.
in the same way you can create many Memoji with different faces and customize them as you want on the iPhone.

The Animoji and Memoji stickers were initially only available for the Apple iMessage application, which is also exclusive to Apple devices. With iOS 13, however, the Memoji stickers have been integrated into the iOS keyboard and can be used as real Whatsapp stickers . As such, they can also be sent to Android phones which will be able to see Animoji and Memoji in the same way they see on iPhone.
To send a Memoji or Animoji as a WhatsApp sticker on iPhone, from chat, touch the Emoji icon on the iOS keyboard and touch the three dot icon in the Animoji section. How to save Memoji stickers on WhatsApp for Android

When you receive stickers on WhatsApp, you can reuse them to send them to other contacts. The only problem is that there is no option to save all those received to share them. Fortunately, you can still save the stickers received as "favorites" so that you can find them and send them in the future.
So, after all the Memoji stickers sent from an iPhone to the WhatsApp of the Android smartphone have been received, to save them all and use them in the future, as if using an iPhone, you must touch the sticker received and then add it to your favorite messages by touching the icon of the star .
All the favorite stickers on WhatsApp can be found by touching the Emoji button on the keyboard that opens in a chat and then, in the Stickers section, by touching the star button. These can then be sent to anyone from an Android smartphone.

Other ways

As already explained in the past, it is possible to create personalized Memoji with your own face even using an external app, without having to have them sent from an iPhone.
The best app to create Animoji on Android is Zapeto, which I mentioned in the past, which almost perfectly replicates the design of the Apple Memoji.
An excellent alternative is also the Bitmoji application to create personalized Emojis.
Do not forget that on Android you can use the GBoard keyboard to transform photos into Emoji with our face.
