In the latest update, Waze has added the possibility to customize the navigator by making it speak with our voice, recording the phrases that will then be listened to while driving and driving directions.

To record your voice in the driving instructions of the GPS navigator, you only need to open Waze, slide your finger from left to right to open the main menu and press the wheel at the top left to enter the settings.
Scroll down the settings, tap on Audio and voice instructions and then open the Voice recorder .
Activate it with the switch and start recording the various sentences, trying to be as clear as possible.
There are 39 sentences to record, ranging from "everything ready, let's start" to "turn right", "at the roundabout" or "and then" etc.
Those who are not too picky can record all sentences verbally in 5 minutes.
The last option of the voice recorder allows you to select the default voice, which in Italian is convenient for " Sofia " because it can also read street names.
Obviously, this option only serves to personalize the guide, make it more fun by recording playful phrases, perhaps in dialect or with colorful words.
