How to find the best products on Amazon

Amazon is undoubtedly the most used e-commerce site in Italy for the purchase of any type of product, from household appliances to smartphones, TVs, accessories and consumer electronics in general.
But for those who approach the Amazon site for the first time, they could be blown away by the large amount of products available, without having any valid help on which product to buy.
For this reason we decided to create a complete guide to discover the best products on Amazon in a completely autonomous way, so as to always consider the best choice for all users.
We will show you how to use the feedback rating system, how to filter products through this system and what types of feedback you can find on Amazon (types of comments).

1) User feedback evaluation system
In order to choose one product over another on Amazon, we can rely on the evaluation system based on the stars, present on practically any product sold.
Users who purchased the product can (immediately or after some time) let them know about the purchase by releasing more or less detailed information and entering feedback from 1 (Very poor) to 5 stars (Excellent); in the introductory screen to the product we will immediately be able to see the average of the marks assigned to the product immediately under the name, as shown below.

The stars are also visible when searching for products, just take a look at the right side of each product to get immediate feedback on the ratings.

Scrolling down the page or clicking on the number of reviews inserted, we can read all the reviews with any rating assigned; Amazon chooses the best and worst ratings and immediately shows them in the foreground, but just scroll down the page or click on a specific rating to find out "defects" or problems encountered by users with that specific product.

Not all reviews are the same, we can also find sponsored reviews or testing products provided free of charge the important thing is to read a large number of reviews and make the right choice.
As a general rule the more reviews there are the more the ratings tend to be realistic : if we see a product with 4.5 stars but with only 50 reviews the feedback will be less realistic than a product that boasts only 4.1 stars but on over 1000 reviews .
On Amazon we can also find products without any star (no rating) because maybe they are quite rare products, just released on the market or that no one has yet decided to fully evaluate; we try to avoid these products and focus on those that have clear ratings.
To reduce the choice of products only to those with the best rating on Amazon we insert a keyword in the search bar at the top and, after the search, we insert the filter present in the left sidebar 4 stars or more under the category Customer reviews average, so as to certainly exclude all products that are scarce or with little positive feedback.

2) Bestsellers on Amazon
Another criterion that we can use to evaluate the purchase or not of a product (with equal evaluations or sale price) is the Most sold tag, used by Amazon during a search to immediately indicate to the user which of the many products highlighted is currently the best selling on Amazon.

The products featuring this orange tag have achieved large volumes of sales on the site (many customers have purchased it); since the company monitors everything, it offers the possibility to future customers to immediately see which product is chosen by the majority of people .
The "Best Selling" tag is not always synonymous with maximum quality, but if many people buy a product some value will have to have it that's why it is essential to always check all the feedback and the stars so you can see what the possible defects are and if the value for money is up to the situation.

3) The choice of Amazon (Amazon's Choice)
A new tag has been used for some time on Amazon to help even more undecided users on which product to buy: the Amazon's Choice tag, which is the products you personally choose from Amazon for their value for money and for the high level of satisfaction of customers.
We can see the tag on a lot of products like a black and orange tag.

The products with this tag are of high quality, are available with Amazon Prime (therefore fast and punctual delivery) and boast excellent features and functionality.
The evaluation is done using both common user reviews and sponsored user reviews, which often perform extensive tests to understand if the product is worthwhile or not.
At the end the product receives this stamp with which Amazon certifies the goodness of the product by "putting a face on it".
Amazon's Choice products are almost always very good, and since there is currently no filter to call them, we always recommend taking a look when we see this tag because they usually always indicate the best product in the category and in the price range, thus making our search on the site (and the subsequent purchase) even faster.
4) How to avoid problems on Amazon
We want to avoid buying a disappointing product on Amazon ">
- We always take a look at the best-selling products and Amazon's Choice products : these tags help us users to understand what other people buy and what Amazon recommends to make its users happy, why not take advantage of it instead of going around in circles for hours looking offer?
With these simple rules, buying on Amazon will become a walk for any novice user.
