A common requirement in any home environment and, above all, in offices, where there are multiple computers connected together, is to print documents using the same printer . The most obvious solution is to use printer sharing on Windows so that the same single printer can be used by multiple computers.
In this mode, however, it is impossible to print from a mobile phone, a smartphone or an iPad because the printer, on mobile devices, cannot be shared.

Print online with Google Cloud Print
You can print via internet from PC and mobile phones with Google Cloud Print .
If the printer is compatible with Google Cloud Print, connect it to the modem via Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi, turn it on and go to a PC with Google Chrome installed. From the browser we type in the address bar chrome: // devices, then we click Add printers to be able to add the printer to the Google service; if the printer is already present in the operating system, just click on the Register button next to its name.
Now we follow the steps in the printer screen to end the registration by pressing the Register or OK buttons. The printer is now added to the Google cloud service and available with on our account; to print online with Chrome all we have to do is press CTRL + P on the desired page and choose the Google Cloud Print printer among those available. If the printer is turned on and connected to the Internet, Google will print remotely even if we are away from home or abroad. To check if the printer has been registered, visit the following site and check if the name of our printer is present.
To print online also with other programs (for example from Office), we install the Google Cloud Print driver on our computer with Windows, so as to add the remote printer as if it were a normal PC printer.
If we want to print remotely with Google Cloud Print using an Android smartphone, just install the Cloud Print app.
From this app we can print all the documents on the printer online, just choose it as the destination when we use the Share or Print button (based on the starting app).
To use Google Cloud Print on iPhone, we will have to open documents or websites with one of the Google apps (Chrome, Gmail, Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Presentations), use the Share button, go to the Print menu and select Google Cloud Print, so you can print online.

Print online with ePrint
HP printers have a dedicated remote printing service called ePrint. It allows you to print via email: all we have to do is send the document to be printed to a specific email address and the HP service will provide for remote printing.
To use this feature, turn on the HP printer control panel, which can be obtained by typing the IP address of the printer in any browser (if we do not know the IP address of the printer, check it in the control panel of the router ) and click on the Web Services or ePrint menu.
In the menu that appears, click on Enable where required to activate the service.
During the configuration process the printer will make us choose an email address with HP domain, with which to be able to print remotely; if the printer was already configured and we want to find out what this address is, go to the Print Info Page menu and click on the item of the same name. A sheet with the email address to be used for printing will be printed.
To print online, all we have to do is open our email account (from PC or smartphone), create a new email, insert the document to be printed as an attachment and finally enter the email address provided by the printer as recipient. After a few minutes the printer will start to print the document remotely, even if we are away from home or we are on the other side of the world! The only requirements are that the printer is turned on and that it is connected correctly to the modem (via cable or Wi-Fi).
Print online with TeamViewer
Another method that we can use to print remotely involves the use of the TeamViewer program, already famous for remote control of computers but which also has remote printing features.
After installing TeamViewer on the main PC (where the printer is already configured), all we have to do is check it online with another TeamViewer for PC or from the app for Android and iOS, transfer the file to the main computer and start the printing process by clicking on the appropriate icon or pressing CTRL + P when we are inside the remote control window.
If we do not know how to transfer the file from the printer, click on File & Extra at the top and use the Open file transfer function to be able to transfer the file to be printed from your computer to your online computer. If, on the other hand, we have a paid license of TeamViewer, we can use any printer on the PC controlled using the Activate TeamViewer printing button, always present in the File & Extra menu .
