Copy and paste text into photos, images and videos on the internet with Chrome

Copy and paste is perhaps the most useful function of a computer ever.
Any text present on a web page or in a document can be selected with the mouse, copied and pasted into another text file which can be Word or another writing program.
The only text that is impossible to copy and paste is the one inserted inside the images and photos, those seen on Facebook, those shared in blogs and other sites.
The only way to extract text from a photo, scan or any image is the use of an OCR program which is above all useful for converting scanned images of books into editable and usable text on Word.
If, on the other hand, you simply want to copy and paste the text into the images found on the internet, there is a truly magical extension available only for Google Chrome, which works like the best OCR program.
The extension is called Project Naptha free, which you just need to install and add in Chrome.
After installation you can immediately try the extension on the image shown on the official website of the project, by right-clicking on a word.
You will then notice the opening of a special menu that allows you to copy and paste the text, to translate the sentences and to search within the text .
The extension makes it possible to extract words and sentences from images and then use them on their own written text, without effort and without difficulty.
Project Naptha works well for extracting text from photos, comics, diagrams, even scans of newspaper articles, screenshots, translations and any other image found on the internet.
The text in the images can also be edited by pressing on it with the right button and using the Reprint function from the Translate menu.
Then press the right button again to find the Modify button that opens the editing editor and allows you to edit the image directly or even delete it if it bothers you.
For images on Facebook the extension also works on images published in Facebook such as memes only that you have to open them on a new tab outside Facebook.
Precisely, you have to click on it with the right mouse button, press on " open image on another tab " and note that the words will become selectable for copying and pasting thanks to the Project Naptha extension.
If it doesn't work well or if you want to try a similar alternative there is also another extension for Chrome called Copyfish OCR that works similarly with one more detail: it supports, in addition to images, also videos .
Basically, if you find an online video with subtitles or writings, they can be extracted and copied.
In addition to copying and pasting text into photos and videos on the internet, Copyfish is also able to select text and translate it into another language.
