5 things many users do wrong on Android

Android is the most used operating system for smartphones and mobile devices in the world and also in Italy, which is installed on practically every mobile phone that is not Apple or Microsoft brand, with a percentage of use higher than that of iOS, the iPhone operating system .
Having such a large audience, it is natural that we talk a lot about it, often out of turn and giving wrong advice, which lead users to do things they shouldn't do on their Android smartphones.
There are, in particular, 5 things that many Android users do wrong for the care and daily routine on the Android smartphone.

1) Killing apps manually or using apps that free up memory should not be done
We have already said that closing the background apps on Android is useless.
It is useless to close them by hand using the button of recent apps and it is also harmful to use those apps that say to recover memory by terminating applications that are not in use.
The truth is that Android manages the RAM itself, unlike how Windows does, in order to recover it effortlessly from apps not in use and does not have the defect of leaving memory occupied by apps that are in the background making the active ones go slow.
Each app recovers memory or promises to speed up the system is therefore a bluff.
2) Installing more than one antivirus or security app is wrong
As already written in the dedicated article, the best antivirus apps for Android are not, in reality, a necessity.
These applications take up a lot of memory on the phone, work in the background constantly and also have some impact on the battery.
If you don't install apps from outside the Google Play store and pay attention to where you tap when you open popups on your internet browser, there is no real risk of getting a virus on your mobile phone or tablet.
In the latest versions of Android, Google has already included its own program of protection against malicious apps and is visible from the Google Settings, in the Security section.
Android also includes an anti-theft system under the Device Management options and therefore does not require other apps.
3) Installing applications from unknown sources, from the internet or from other untrusted stores is not to be done
In addition to Google Play, there are also other app stores, such as Amazon, Samsung and then other stores with pirated apps.
All stores that are not official of a reliable company are to be considered dangerous and it is better not to use them in order not to risk installing apps with viruses that can damage or spy on your phone data.
Downloading apps from the Internet under APK files is also not recommended, unless they come from official sources or from reliable APK download sites such as APKMirror.
4) Keeping the smartphone always on and never restarting it is not recommended
Modern smartphones are like computers and can, in theory, be left on for days.
Although there is no real evidence to go against it, it is a good idea to restart the phone once in a while.
It is no coincidence that Samsung has introduced a new function on its Galaxy S7 to schedule the automatic restart of the phone once a week when it is not in use.
Restarting the mobile phone is a way to clear any errors and to delete memory residues that have remained blocked and no longer available.
5) Avoid using app cleaner and clear cache
This is a type of application really popular with Android users and just think that Clean Master has been downloaded even 33 million times.
Well these are useless apps, or in any case that do not give any real benefit, but only the illusion that the phone becomes faster.
Clearing application caches is something you don't need on Android because the cache is immediately recreated.
The only good thing is clearing caches of apps that are no longer installed, but there is always little stuff.
In fact, there are two much more effective ways of freeing up memory space on an Android smartphone:
- Use Facebook from the site by deleting the app
- Delete photos and videos received in Whatsapp groups
