Mixing music as if you were a DJ is different from producing and creating it. We have seen, in another post, several online applications to create electronic music and mix it from scratch, some very fun others instead more serious and professional but always free.
Another page instead lists the best free programs to mix and create music by professional DJs on the PC and mix existing tracks with software up to the famous Traktor Dj, Virtual Dj, Fruity Loops and MixMeister which are all paid.
Mixing therefore, in the true sense of doing the job of a true DJ, means not producing and creating new music but making the songs play and making sure that one follows the other almost without making the listener notice, thus overlapping the sounds and bass rhythmically and sequentially.
In this article, therefore, we see the two websites that make available a web application (not therefore PC programs that are in the article mentioned above) in which you can use your favorite music to make remixes, mixing the tracks, overlapping them and, if desired, creating a whole new track.
1) The best currently seems to be The Online Audio Mixer for playing Looplabs mixed music, a site that has recently opened and was created by a very strong company called Aviary, famous for photo editing applications.
Looplabs is a real online mixer that allows you to upload mp3 files with the music you have on your computer, and to mix them by putting them one after the other and scrolling through a playlist that can be pre-packaged for a party . The main function is therefore to upload mp3 files to the site, which are broken down and displayed graphically with sound waves. The tool allows you to act on the audio volumes and the speed of the song so that you can prepare a perfect mix without improvising.
To use the Looplabs mixer, you must first register on the site, receive the confirmation email and activate the free account. In the interface that follows, you can upload the music by pressing the Upload Tracks button. After loading them, click on Record, Edit and Mix and the site will download a console.jnlp file that opens having installed Java on the PC (if it wasn't there, download Java from the java.com site). When the upload is complete, a console opens in a window separate from the browser, as if an independent program had been started. On the interface, press on "New Mix" to start. The loaded music is on the left and can be dragged on the editor with the mouse. The tracks can now be placed one behind the other or superimposed on each other but to create the serious and professional mix, press the three-dot button that is next to the M and S keys. In this way , the decomposed display is enabled. of the volume that can be changed piece by piece, second by second, very precisely . From the file menu you can add new music and save the session from deejay. In addition to this you can also add many sound effects, bass and other instrument loops, sampling effects and the possibility of recording from the microphone. The only limitation is that the tool is free only for uploading up to 100 MB of mp3 files which are roughly equivalent to an hour and a half of music.
2) You DJ is much simpler, more fun, with fewer functions but perfect for creating a mixed playlist and remixes on existing music. Registered users, for free, can search for songs online and then play with the turntable mixer, so that the music never stops, as DJs do. Music is that of the largest free electronic music site Soundcloud and is organized by disco music genres: Dance, Drum'n'Bass, Electronic, HipHop, Progressive etc. In addition to the various knobs of a small DJ mixer, there is also the audio breakdown of the tracks to see when to mix.
3) PartyCloud is a site that allows you to DJ by mixing music with a mixer complete with volumes and equalizer. The music is listened to online and can be searched from the bar on the left side. The site, in order to function, requires you to activate the Flash Player.

5) Soundation for making music on the internet is an exceptional web application, perhaps the best of its kind for playing and creating music online.
I still remember that these features are present on some of the free programs to mix music as a DJ, on the computer, with their own music and that, probably, are preferable because they are faster and more feature-rich than these services on the internet.
