Optimize services in Windows 10, 7 and 8 with an automatic tool

When we talk about Windows services, we mean those processes that start in the background and make the computer work . For example, to connect to the internet, there is a service, to print, another service and so on. PC Services Optimizer

PC Services Optimizer 3 is a free tool that can be downloaded from the developer website in a version to be installed and in a portable version, without installation. The program is very simple to use even if in English. After installation, a screen appears indicating the health of the computer, with disk, processor and memory usage values. The interface is very clear and, from the left menu, you can access the various optimization functions. Service Optimizer works well on Windows 7, Windows 10 and 8.1 and is focused on optimizing services, making the task of the less experienced easy, to disable those superfluous services.
First press on Services Diagnostic which makes a diagnosis of the services and recommends setting the most important ones with automatic start. The most important function is the Automatic Tuneup which is really cleverly set up, presenting some questions that need to be answered yes or no . The questions are in English but quite understandable and intuitive so, for example, we are asked:

  By pressing the Rescue button, you can create and manage snapshots or configuration backups so, even if you were wrong and wanted to restore the original startup setting of the services, you can easily do it. From the Service Manager you access the services management screen that also has Windows.
  Last thing to say is that, in the options accessible by pressing on More Functions in Home, you can automate PC Services Optimizer by having it run at computer startup. I always prefer not to add programs at the start of the PC so disable the option and configure the services by launching PC Services Optimizer when needed.

  Pegasun System Utilities, compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 shows the list of services that are currently installed, their status (running or stopped) and the startup setting (automatic, manual or disabled). To view a brief description of the service, you can select the service and click on the Describe button. At the top of the window there are three options: Default settings "Default", safe optimization and maximum optimization. The default is to return the service startup settings to the original state, as they are when installing Windows. This means that if some settings had already been changed before using this program, the changes will be lost by pressing choosing default. At the same time, however, if errors have been made about the services, this is a good way to reset everything and start over.
  With the Safe Optimization option, the program analyzes the current settings and suggests disabling some services which are useless for most people. The changes are not applied immediately after pressing the " Optimize " button below. First you can check what will be changed and then you can confirm the optimization by applying the changes.
  " Maximum Optimization " is an aggressive mode that turns off many services. This is not the last level, there is also the Extra optimization which can be accessed from the Extra menu at the top. For each level of optimization you can choose whether or not to include internal Windows services, Microsoft ones by selecting the Hide Microsoft Services check box. The program can be useful, although you need to pay close attention to what you are doing.
