Start programs menu and best horizontal or circular Dock bars for Windows

The Dock are graphic bars, similar to the bar found at the bottom of Windows, which are used to launch applications and programs by clicking on the icons you choose to have inside them.
Unlike the classic Windows Start bar, however, they are graphically very beautiful, with a variable semi-transparent effect and with large and clearly visible icons.
Docks distinguish the Leopard operating system of Mac computers.
The best docks or launchers for Windows programs are:
1) Rocketdock is a task bar for Windows very similar to that found on Mac systems and which becomes very useful as alternatives to the classic menu bar.
As for quality, the RocketDock bar is really at a high level, with a variable level of transparency and a pop-up graphic effect that is very functional and beautiful to look at without excessive consumption of resources.
Basically it is a bar where you can put buttons with the icons of the programs you want to keep at hand.
2) Object Dock by the programmers of the Stardock graphic themes.
3) Another dock to make Windows look like a Mac OS system with Leopard is called XWindows Dock on which you can decide the icons to be positioned with a 3D view.
Graphically it is perhaps the best of these docks even if, personally, I would not change the Rocketdock bar which remains the most flexible and easy to configure and customize.
4) A nice portable dock, in the sense that it should not be installed and can be copied as a file on a USB stick, is ViPad which is a very nice, functional and fully customizable alternative Start menu.
5) From the Oxygen charts we find a Dock called YZDock which is the lightest and most functional bar we have tried.
With this boot menu you could even give up the classic Start (hiding it) and leave the XYDock alone as it happens on the MAC.
It takes up very little memory and is configured by simply dragging icons.
6) MyDock is a start bar that can replace not only the Start menu, but also the Task manager because it highlights the applications and programs that are running with a blue dot.
7) WinStep Nexus Dock can be easily configured to add applications on the bar whose icon can also be changed.
Very nice are the transparency effects and the background images that can be applied; moreover, the bar can be moved wherever you want, enlarged or reduced according to your tastes.
8) Among the graphic "launchers", the circular and spiral 3-dimensional program launch bar offered by the Circle Dock program is very nice.
The dock can be started with the mouse in any area of the desktop, rotated with the mouse or with the keyboard arrows and the elements can be imported with drag & drop.
The software does not require installation and therefore can be easily transported with a USB stick.
9) A circular Icon Launcher to start programs, comes from SliderDock with which you can have a Dock that arranges the icons on the desktp in a circular way forming a circle that moves with the mouse.
10) Linkbar to add another taskbar on Windows .
11) The Magic Formation program launch bar is always circular, flexible and fully customizable.
In reality, the bar can also be normal and not necessarily circular, however the graphic effect is really nice to see but above all functional.
Practically you can choose the programs you want to have always protected by hand and, wherever you are, on a web page, on a word sheet, on a drawing, you can open the dock and start the desired program, without practically moving the mouse from your position.
For example, for now I start it with the middle mouse button but you can also make the bar appear with a circular movement of the arrow.
12) Krento is also a Windows 7, Xp and Vista interface to launch programs from icons arranged in a circle.
13) Finally, the super Windows application bar is interesting .
14) Other ways to create additional, customizable and detachable toolbars are in another article.
