Send and view mobile photos in Gmail

Gmail has a new interface in adding photos and images to an email which makes sharing photos taken with your smartphone much easier.
When you create a new message in Gmail and click on the attachment icon, then pressing the " insert photo " button, Gmail shows all the images saved in Google Photos .
The visible photos are those of the page //photos.google.com/ which also includes photos of the automatic backup from the PC and mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets.
This is an additional incentive to use the Google Photos photo backup feature, which automatically uploads photos taken with a smartphone to your private profile.
Google auto-backup is a function to be activated on the smartphone, on the Google Photos application, on Android and iOS.
The guide explains how everything is automated and private and how, if you choose to resize photos compared to the original format, there are no limits to the photos to be added on the online space.
From the Gmail photo insertion window, you can choose, below, whether to send them in the email as an online link or as an attachment .
If you choose the " online " mode, you can resize the photo that will appear in the message as embedded.
Gmail therefore becomes much more effective as a means of sharing photos, combined with Google's excellent auto-backup feature.
The Gmail window also includes an album section making it possible to share entire photo albums via email via links.
Anyone who receives the link can access the album.
Obviously it remains possible to upload photos from your computer or add them to emails via URL as it was before.
