In universities, in some bars and especially in hotels and holiday villages, you can access the internet by connecting freely to the wifi network and going through a login and password screen. The wifi network, therefore, is reported as free, only that then internet access is prevented and protected by the access or login web page.
In these cases, if you want to access without a password and bypass the blocking of the wifi network, you must not act to hack the wifi connection which is still open and free, but you can use some tricks that, depending on the security system that is used from the access point, they can work to open internet access even when protected by a login and password .

Among the simplest tricks, having an Android smartphone often works using network scanning and Mac Spoofing, that is, changing the Mac Address.
The Mac Address is the address of the network card, a 12-character unique identifier assigned to a particular hardware, used to uniquely identify a device on the network.
If, therefore, you are able to have a list of devices connected to the wifi network and to change the Mac Address of our computer or smartphone in order to make it identical to one of the devices connected to the network, then we will be able to enter and surf the internet bypassing the request login and password.
This trick, however, only works on Android phones unlocked with root.
You connect the phone to the free wifi network and using an app like Fing or Network utilities you scan the wifi network by finding all the Mac Addresses connected.
With the Mac Spoofer app, then, you can change the Mac address on your mobile phone and access it freely.
There is however another way to overcome the login and password screen on protected wifi networks of shops, bars and hotels, which has worked both on Android without root and on Windows and on iPhone and iPad.
This is the free and open source Phision Pro app, a VPN app designed to counter Internet censorship and also browse sites blocked by countries like China or Russia.
This app works by routing all traffic on an https proxy (ssh tunnel), the protocol of secure and encrypted connections that is never blocked because it is used by banks for online payments.
Thanks to this particular operation, even if the internet connection slows down, the result is obtained by bypassing the logins to the internet access web pages on protected wifi networks (i.e. the free ones but with the login page).
On an Android smartphone, install Psiphon Pro, start the app and then in the options choose Tunnel all device, to make all the apps work on the internet including Whatsapp and Facebook.
As mentioned, the Psiphon Pro app can also be installed on Windows from the official website of the Psiphon3 program and for iPhone and iPad from the Apple Store.
From what I have read on the internet, this application also has another effect which if confirmed (I could not test it) would be really good.
With the special connection that is created by Psiphon Pro it is possible to surf the internet without consuming the Giga of the SIM, in practice without the traffic being counted by the data subscription of Tre, Vodafone, Tim and Wind.
You could therefore use unlimited mobile internet from any phone or computer.
