Rovio has released the successor game of Angry Birds : Bad Piggies, starring the same green pigs. Bad Piggies is available for iPhone, Android, tablet, iPad and Windows and Mac computers . Bad Piggies is about to become a blockbuster and to compete with Angry Birds for the number one palm of its kind. Bad Piggies can be downloaded free for Android and iPhone from their respective stores.
If Angry Birds is a game more based on instinct and precision with your finger, where you have to throw a bird by guessing the right trajectory, in Bad Piggies what matters is the ingenuity and creative imagination .
The object of the game is to get the green pig (the same one that had to be destroyed in Angry Birds) from one part of the scene to the other. since the pig does not have legs, the player must place it in a mechanical structure capable of moving and arriving at its destination.
This machine can also be a rickety cart made of wooden crates with the wheels underneath, a bellows to push it and, perhaps, with an engine inside that pushes wheels and fans. It is also possible to build a high-level flying machine, using balloons and other elements. In each level there are a few pieces with which to create this structure so that it moves and reaches the finish line. There is no single way to move forward in the level, you can build a perfect machine or you can invent a means of imagination, improbable and disconnected, which is still capable of being pushed to kick with a good dosage of weights, thrusts or by exploiting the bombs that are on the road. At the beginning the game is simple and you learn quickly, but in the following levels you will really have to test your engineering skills, until you have to build a real means of transport.
Bad Piggies, just like Angry Birds was when it was released, is not exactly an original game.
For example, in the list of online games based on physics, balance and gravity I had mentioned Fantastic Contraption which has a similar concept to Bad Piggies. However, what makes the Rovio games special are their characters and the tender and friendly way in which they are designed, as well as the always catchy music that never gets tired. So, if you fell in love with the cute little birds of Angry Birds, you can't help but become attached to green pigs.
