Avoid annoying friends on Facebook without taking away the friendship

Some people are annoying on Facebook, needless to deny it.
We all have friends who publish avalanches of nonsense every day, effective and maximized phrases as obvious as trivial and unbearable, friends who publish photos of dogs and cats continuously, friends who talk about politics in a dull and irritating way or who always intervene to contest what we write.
The temptation to remove these friends from the Facebook friends list is very strong, but removing the friendship today seems like a real rude, a symbolically strong and personal declaration, worse than any vaffa.
To avoid getting in touch with these annoying friends, it is better not to delete them and find alternative methods to hide what we write from them and not see anything published by them on our Facebook.
1) Hide specific posts, updates and messages
If you notice a particularly annoying or boring post or that you don't want to read, you can hide it using the up arrow to the right of the post.
You can also mark the post as inappropriate or mark it as spam if necessary.
Facebook at that point brings up a series of options where you can choose to hide all the next interventions of that person, to no longer follow the person who shared the update (which does not mean to remove the friendship) and to block this person which is the most extreme move and is also equivalent to removing it from friends.

2) Organize the main news homepage
Facebook allows you to customize the homepage by setting which news to appear most often and from which people.
The system is regulated by a mysterious automatic algorithm, but it can be adapted to our needs.
In order not to see the updates of a specific person anymore, you just need not follow him anymore, even if he remains a friend.
Something similar can be achieved by moving friends to the list of acquaintances, so as not to see them on the home page.
To do this, just keep the mouse still on the name of a friend and then choose the " acquaintances " option.
3) Add the friend to the black list
The Facebook restricted list can be managed by clicking on the other link that appears next to the " Friends " item on the left side of the homepage.
All names added to the " restricted " list will see only public posts, but not those visible only to friends.
The two lists with Restrictions and " acquaintances " have been created precisely to avoid removing someone's friendship .
Acquaintances see what is shared with all friends, but they see little in the home.
4) Organize Facebook friends lists by dividing contacts into close friends, work colleagues, classmates etc.
In this way you can always choose with whom to share an update or a photo, hiding it from others, without having to remove someone from your friends.
5) Do not share publicly
Before posting something that some friends don't want to see, choose a custom visibility setting using the drop-down menu next to the public button.
You can choose to share with all friends or only with a list created ad hoc or with friends except acquaintances.
