Automatic translation of emails in Gmail written in foreign languages

Gmail adds another important feature to its unique web-based email service: automatic translation of email messages .
The translation in Gmail is not, in reality, a real novelty because it was already possible to use it by activating it from Gmail Labs (in the Settings menu) where experimental and development projects are collected.
Now the translator has been promoted and made operational for everyone and is able to automatically translate emails from one language to another .
For example, therefore, it is possible to receive an e-mail in Japanese and read it immediately in Italian or you can easily communicate with a German friend even without knowing at all a language.
The automatic message translation was activated by the Labs settings as early as 2009 and has been highly appreciated especially by corporate users who work with people from all over the world.
Starting today, every time you receive an email in Gmail in a language other than Italian or otherwise unknown, press the View translated message button at the top, above the body of the Email.
Gmail will ask if you want to make the translation automatic for that language so that all future emails can be read immediately in Italian without having to press the " translate " button again.
At any time you can click on " View original message " to read it as it was written.
The translation is that offered by the magical Google Translate service, which will not be perfect yet, but which remains among the most useful online tools ever.
I remember, in particular, the recent voice service to speak with the computer in all languages and the voice pronunciation in English with instant translation which, in Android mobile phones, also allows you to speak with a foreigner using your mobile phone as if he were an interpreter, in time real.
Below, a very interesting official Google video that explains, in two minutes, how Google Translate works and how it instantly translates any text into all languages.
Click on the CC button of the Youtube player to activate the Italian subtitles.
